You can tell a person has no case if its argument against a point a man makes, or if the objection to a man's speaking out about a certain issue, or if the reasoning for why it's his "duty" to do such-and-such is "male privilege" or any of those other things

Don't judge me by skin color / gender. Only a racist/sexist does that.

Saying all whites have privilege is like saying all Asians are good at math, all Indians work at 7-11, all Mexicans are illegal, all blacks are gangsta, etc. All are negative hurtful stereotypes.

It’s a mix of straw man (distraction from the point of discussion), and an ad hominem, because it attacks the speaker.

These kinds of responses are typical of those who don’t want to discuss or reason. A perfect example is something of something that happens all the time:

Person 1: “I’m angry because you did something that you know is morally wrong”. Person 2: “Stop being mad at me, you make me feel bad about myself.”

'Privilege' is a measure of your place in the 'intersectional' hierarchy. So being told to check your privilege is asking you to remember your lower position in the hierarchy.

It's just another in a long line of suppression tactics used by groups/cults. Jim Jones and TPT used the same trick by calling anyone who disagreed with the leadership "bourgeois". If you run a group dedicated to falsifiable beliefs, you need something to shut down discussion on command and move on to the next topic.

‘Check your privilege’ just means consider other viewpoints when forming your own. It doesn’t mean you can’t have an opinion, it just means that it should take other people’s experiences into account.

It’s basic shit.
