I find it bizarre that many people in here are homophobic or otherwise unhappy with the association of LGBT rights. An effeminate gay man is the ultimate symbol and idea behind the men's rights movement, in many ways.
If one blows away stereotypes and what is typical, what is "normal", they change what a man is defined as. Therefore, the LGBT movement, which in many ways breaks past gender stereotypes, serves the men's rights movements in many ways, possibly greater than those therein.
The stereotypes, the definitions, the beliefs about what is a man are what binds us all, and binds society. If a man must be masculine, strong, tough, and is afraid of being perceived as weak, then of course they'll be less likely to report or hold campaigns against DV, after all, what sort of big strong man gets beat up by his wife? And as long as the stereotypes lay out there and the ideas created and perpetuated by society exist, men will have certain disadvantages in society. They will have other advantages in society.
So instead of fights for men's rights, or whining about how women are treated differently, or whining about feminism, why not campaign for a society in which "What is a man?" need not matter. Where all of the preconceptions and notions about what gender is or isn't are thrown out the window.

At the least, we must move away from the gender binary and the stereotypes and preconceptions about both genders.
