Narcissism. Women think they are personally getting insulted when men bring up their issues. My favorite thing to bring up is the fact that women can’t by definition rape anyone in other countries. Meaning all rape data on women is biased and incorrect. “Wow you are a misogynist” “ but the patriarchy” “men like it”. I have never gotten an answer from a woman that doesn’t end in deflection

A woman has it worse because she constantly lives in fear of being sexually assaulted? How about they don’t dress/acts like hoes for a start and maybe call out the other women that make them look bad by engaging in such behaviour.

A woman has it worse because she bleeds every month? Give them the latest edition of a science text book so they can revisit biology101. It’s their natural biology. They don’t have a say in it or get to control it.

the interesting thing about reddit is if you read a post about how terrible women have it, and point out that what they're talking about is actually much worse for men, you'll get called "shitlord" and told "this isn't the place for your 'what about the menz' shit", and "go make your own post"

Feminism is an ideology based entirely on emotions, not facts.

Most feminists don't know any facts at all. If you ask them to discuss the facts of the issue, they cannot do so with any accuracy. They will either shrug their shoulders or just make numbers up.

However, they are very emotionally invested in believing they are oppressed. They didn't arrive at this belief using facts & logic, so you cannot overcome their belief with facts & logic.

Quoting facts & stats to a feminist only annoys her. She just isn't interested, she only cares about preserving her worldview that women are oppressed. That's why she'll dismiss you with some idiocy, like calling you an incel.

This commitment to feelings over facts means that feminists are almost always wrong. Thus we have the Iron Law of Feminism: "Whatever feminists claim, the opposite is the truth".

Yep. My favorite is online dating. Men: “I’m good looking and followed all the advice on pics/profile creation/initiating, and still only get 1 legitimate connection a month. Online dating is hard for men”.

Women and white knights: “‘men are dying of thirst in the desert, women in an ocean” or also “women in a sludge pit”.

The idea being that there are just so many totally shitty men that amongst the 2000 matches that they swiped on, the majority are total trash, and thus it’s just as difficult as having literally 0 or 1 options.

Makes no sense in any way and also makes sure to shit on the majority of men they literally swiped on!! And of course doesn’t consider how many shitty women the men are coming across (ghosting, flirting with the bartender on your date, not paying for anything or engaging in good convo etc).. the assumption as usual is the girls we get matched with are all saints and all of our 1 options are great!

Its like the BLM movement and all the white people who responded with blue or white or whatever else.

it’s sort of a weird reality when gender gets discussed online, especially in opinionated spaces

people struggle to cope with someone talking about issues specifically related to one gender, or if they can’t personally relate, attempt to insert their own personal experiences (sometimes inappropriate when considering how individual experience can be influenced by gender)

it’s why you see so many ppl in this sub fantasise about double standards, or responding to issues women face with a ‘but if it was men!’. and vice versa in other spaces. Ppl don’t like the spotlight being moved, interpret it as someone ignoring men’s / women’s issues rather than someone simply talking about issues oriented around one specific gendered experience

Feminists see it as a competition. That's why most feminists can't handle an MRA. They need to be recognized as the victims, and they can't have anyone else taking any attention away from that. Its quite frustrating to try and have a discussion with these people because they have no intention of listening. Basically men are lower on the "totem pole" to progressive IDPOL. In fact I'd say we're dead last. This happens in every category. Race, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, etc. If you're part of the "privileged" classes your issues matter less to none at all compared to the underprivileged" classes even if they're just as real and may even impact you more.

As a way to deflect the issue, wave off devoting any resources, and spite the target group another group that's seen as more deserving is brought up. It's a thought terminating move.
