Like three or four years ago, I was heavily blue pill and I argued with atlas like crazy. She triggered me so hard, I was meaner than she was. I said shit like how she was probably creaming her pants over her rp fantasies. I hated her.

And then like a little over a year later, I was meeting her irl and we were shopping for makeup together and getting coffee. She even gave me an eyeshadow pallet she knew I'd like. She's sweet, funny, feminine, super charming. Lovely with me and all the sales ladies. You really have no idea. Nobody in this sub could imagine her real life persona just like nobody in real life could probably imagine her online persona because they come across so differently. She's like no one else and I totally love her ❤️❤️❤️

Atlas is genuinely a nice and cool person. Today I said something about not being that smart and she PMed me and told me she thinks I am smart and gave me reasons for thinking I am smart. If you ask her a question about a topic she's knowledgeable about she's a really patient teacher. She loves cute little animals. She gives good advice. Also, we have the same favorite Smashing Pumpkins song.

idk. i think she's a great person. very kind and patient. she's been a pillar of wisdom, perspective and insights, and laughs for many people who have gotten to know her over the years. she has personally helped a few people out of really tough and emotionally taxing situations. she is always there for her friends, giving them courage and advice when they need it. she's sometimes abrasive but she truly means well. i personally adore her and I think she's an intelligent, empathetic and lovely woman. Never on the offense. She gives people enough rope, because like I said, she's patient. Don't take advantage of her patience. Or be dumb. She really gets annoyed by dumb people trying to one up her. I am so much meaner. My 8-year-old son got his black belt this summer and had to pass a physical fitness test. Mr. Upton covered down on the push-ups and sit-ups; I took care of the running. How many times did I drive that kid through the woods like a pig down a chute, yelling at him that I am old and tired! You are young and speedy! OR ARE YOU SPEEDY??? YOU DON'T SEEM ALL THAT GODDAMNED SPEEDY!!! MOVE MOVE MOVE!!!!! And I love that kid. I would die for that kid, and be happy to do it. The only thing that keeps me from being that mean on PPD is the subreddit rules, and sometimes even that is a close thing.

I grew up with a terrifying dad who non-ironically called me a shitbird and a meathead and a dumbfuck when I was growing up. The kind of engagement that the dudes here regard as "mean" would have felt like a warm hug. You all are a bunch of pussies.

Edit: AtlasB is fucking nice. She just doesn't coddle. So, butch up and stop requiring coddling.

As for how I act in real life, I'm very quiet, reserved and polite. I've been told I seem very serious. I have a very dry, deadpan sense of humor and a monotone voice, which I hate. I am very nice and polite toward everyone, although I wouldn't say I'm all that warm or friendly. I mostly keep to myself. I'm shy even though I really really love people. I'm very awkward, nervous and fidgety. I'm also conflict averse to a fault. I sometimes think I'm drawn to arguing at PPD because it keeps me from going crazy, since I avoid any semblance of conflict or argument in my real life.

I like Atlas. If you really pay attention to what she does, she is less likely to go fuckaloo coconuts on a PERSON she will alien monster an IDEA because she thinks the IDEA is flawed and she forces people to understand their own ideas that in actuality they do not understand. She is actually a good teacher if you study her she can double hexagon any concept, unpeel it, and wrap it again. She has a code that looks weird to people who do not get what a code is.

Atlas always puts up with my religion questions, even when they're hopelessly stupid.

I didn't feel like a real member of PPD until Atlas told me I was misusing the term "radfem".

Most people don't know how kind Atlas is. But she (and the other lovely ladies of PPD), well they're teaching me that female friends don't always suck. In fact, they're pretty awesome.

I'm pretty much the same in real life. Relatively disagreeable and frosty, complete mush with my selective crowd.

man Atlas seems like the easiest sort of person to get along with, to me. For all the times she's waded into a scrum I don't think I've ever seen her angry. She says whatever she wants to say and then doesn't give a flying fuck if you even listen or care. Helps to know she lived in Philly, lol, the whole social screening method in that city is to see who you can trigger within 10 minutes, then hanging out with the people you can't. I'd say I'd get a drink with her, but we'd probably end up getting 5 and debating for three hours fucking libertine shitwoman
