from what i rememebr reading they didnt separate out if it had been female on female violence of just "had experienced domestic violence" in their relationship histories, that included men

Well if women in hereto relationships are more likely to report IPV than men in hereto relationships, then would it make sense that women in same sex relationships would also be more likely to report IPV than men in same sex relationships? Meaning we’re not talking about incidence, we’re talking about the likelihood of reporting abuse. Just a thought.

Either way, no one says women cant be abusive and violent. That’s a manosphere strawman.

Yeah it is true that it is surprising, but if you think about it, it isn't.

Women are more prone to be unsatisfied in relationships and lesbians are more prone to violence, although at a lesser degree in strength, like slaps and weak punches. Than both heterosexual people.

Maybe you've just known those that were overall happy.

The thing is that unhappy people experience more violence like this or in general people that face more problems in life. Poor people also experience more domestic violence as do people of mistreated races and stuff.

"the cycle of abuse" is real; people who have abused and raped their children were themselves abused and raped as a child proportionally more often.
