(Disclaimer, this is a US based post, but may apply to other developed/capitalistic countries).
It's not about height, body type, being rich, or how much of a "Chad" you are. The fact is, the majority of young women want to become mothers, and they don't want to do it alone. The majority of young men have no idea how to demonstrate to women that they can be capable fathers because our instant-gratification, consumerist society has placed more value on immediate pleasure over long term planning.
The number one reason childless women delay having kids (or end up running out the biological clock and never have kids) is because they failed to find a man who can be a capable father.
The sad thing is, we aren't raising our sons to be good fathers. The majority of parents in the US follow the "parent as servant" model. They are pressured to coddle and entertain thier children. They cater to their wants and short term desires, don't require housework, and give allowances for just existing. "Just let kids be kids", was the motto in the 90's and 00's when I was growing up. It was a direct backlash to the more stern parenting that boomers and Gen Xers got. The pendulum swung too far, and now we have a generation of young men that expect to be catered to. Not saying girls weren't affected too. Far from it. The difference is thier biological clocks expire much sooner. We usually get the wake up call to grow up in our mid 20s whereas men have the luxury of remaining in a childlike state for much longer.
Spend any amount of time on the women's subs and you'll see countless stories of women who want to start families but are shackled to man-child boyfriends who won't commit, won't get married, won't help out around the house, and who sit around playing video games and watching p*rn. Eventually, they just give up and decide to remain single because it beats having to sit around an wait for the guy to grow up.
Women don't want it to be this way. We don't need men who are wealthy, built like fitness models, at least 6' tall or all of that nonsense. We just want average, responsible men who can take care of themselves financially, help out around the house, and can provide the emotional stability needed to start a family unit. Men like this are exceedingly rare.
So, if you want to attract a woman, try growing up a bit. Get over your fear of comittment, tackle your pleasure addictions (whatever they happen to be), and demonstrate that you want to be a responsible father. You will be shocked at the response you get.
I'm serious, just writing that you want to start a family soon on your dating profile will be ridiculously more effective than saying you're 6'.
