I should add: stats and certain phrases*.

Ideas such as the 'average', 'leagues', 'AF/BB', '3 date rule', '3 month rule', 'types', etc. are only useful in terms of trying to see the general trends. But if you allow yourself to think that that's all there is, then you will only let opportunities pass by you. In reality, lots of different things factor in to create different moods and outcomes.

For example, with online dating, I really doubt women are on there actively searching for their next sex partner or boyfriend all the time. It's used more as a pastime, and sometimes she's just bored and wants to conversate or get attention. Why is this taken so seriously?

Likewise, types, leagues and height aren't so rigid in real life too. Depending on the setting, timing, and mood, different people can appear more charming than they would've had otherwise. Ultimately it is a numbers game and learning to work at your own strengths. I mean, isn't this why clubs and bars are the best place to look for hookups? It has multiple things working to your favour - lowered inhibition due to alcohol, etc. The 3 date and 3 month rule also aren't very practical in my opinion. Sure, it works as a good guideline for those who aren't able to set the pace for themselves. But otherwise, seeing it as a foolproof method or something to get disheartened by isn't worth the energy.

And yes, whilst looks do matter for both genders, I don't really believe that humans are that animalistic that just fuck based on this alone. Not all women will drop their panties asap for an attractive man, and not all men will drop their boxers asap for an attractive woman
