As far as I can tell most of the RP men at PPD and I assume elsewhere have endless complaints about women, apparently women are boring, stupid, accomplish little, devious, lacking in honor, are herd animals, are sluts, grubby consumerists, gold diggers, we get free money from beta orbiters, the government, all we do is post on instagram with our pumpkin spice latte lipstick nail fashion, we deadbedroom our beta partners, and because of feminism men die in wars and slaughter one another for no good reason when we all know left to their own devices men would just laugh congenially with one another in the spirit of brotherhood and manly peace and spend time admiring one another in a totally no homo way. Dunno learned all that at PPD.

Women are people, and like all people, they want what's best for them. Everybody wants the best partner they can get, and most people agree that it's absolutely normal to date around in search of this best partner.

The biggest complaint seems to be with women still actively looking to upgrade while in they're in a relationship.

It's not a theory based in logic, it's passing the buck and avoiding taking blame for one's own failures.

It's tricky, because one shouldn't necessarily blame themselves completely for romantic failures. Failure is part of the process and isn't always within our control. What is not helpful is adopting a mindset that it's never your fault, that it's because of standards that are too high or promiscuity or hypergamy or whatever the scapegoat of the day is. It is comforting to view oneself as a helpless victim of "bio truths" and circumstance, but it is not ultimately constructive.

Everyone wants the best they can reasonably get. There's nothing sinister or bad about that.

If you are blaming hypergamy for failure, you're admitting that you don't stand a chance because there are so many men better than you around you that threaten your competition. That's a personal problem. Become better or adjust your expectations to a more reasonable level.

We have a society they conditions men from a very young age that they are supposed to take care of their woman. So abandoning a LTR for a reason besides a woman’s infidelity is seen a shameful thing to do. Therefore men will often stay in relationships where they have sex maybe once a year, because they feel immense pressure to continue to take care of their SO. Women don’t have that societal pressure, and cheat to try and find a better partner, without concern for their current partner.

I’m sure you don’t believe this is true, but accept it purely for the sake of argument, for just a few seconds.

Women, virtually always, want to "date up". If she make $50k, she wants a guy who make $80k. If she makes low six figures, she wants her guy to make high six figures. If she is a millionaire, she wants a multi-millionaire. That basic concept should not be too hard to wrap one's brain around. That is classic hypergamy.

Guys want to "date up" in terms of looks. Again, nothing mysterious here.

TRP, on the other hand, believe that if they fall in love with a girl from a distance, that makes their love somehow more pure, and people (men and women) who date around before committing are shallow assholes.

Where does the OP get this from?

Basically, TRP's whole philosophy revolves around hating women for having agency and daring to act in their own best self-interest.

Not really. TRP assumes that women will always act in their own self interest but "agency" is a bit trickier.

Cheating because you aren’t getting sex is fulfilling a legit physical need. Cheating because of your partners employment status is indicative of either a deliberate act of cruelty, or you disregarding the foundational reasons for your relationship in the first place.

As I understand it, you are mischaracterising what trp defines as hypergamy. Albeit it is confusing since it is different than the normal understanding of the term. But in trp it is tied to lack of female morals and of branch swinging. I.e., the man not only have to have a higher social class than her (the usual hypergamy), but he has to constantly keep up that position in all interactions with her, otherwise she'll lose interest in a NY minute and go looking for another man.

You can't really compare these two, can you? She did nothing to attain her beauty, yet she leverages it. He has made billions in half the time (and less) than it takes the best businessmen in the world to rake in that kind of wealth. It's basically understood: He is beyond any woman he meets. This isn't some societal double-standard. You can't imagine what it's like to have a billion dollars? Do you know what you can buy with a billion dollars? Literally anything - literally anything that's for sale, he can have (and that's more than you might think). You can have people killed! More importantly, you can have any kind of sex you want. He wants for nothing. He can have any woman. Not just any woman can have him.

I think you're drastically underestimating the depth of /r/TRP. Your beef seems to be with high schoolers moreso than TRP itself. TRP understands female nature, and when it is something you see for the first time as an adult male (as I did) the reaction is disgust and anger. But, with time comes understanding. "Oh, this is just the way women are, and there's a reason they're that way. I don't have to like it, but I do have to live with it". Do I think it's sad when women are shallow? Sure. Do I think it's sad when men think they should get the sex they see on the Internet, because they think they're special - because Feminism told them they were on that super model's level? Yeah, I think it's sad. And yeah, I blame feminism for what those same feminists will call "creeps". In days past, creepy dudes knew their place; they were shy and kept to themselves, because they weren't taught that men and women were all equal in every conceivable way day in and day out. I don't feel bad about women complaining about men coming out of the shadows to tip their fedoras or ask them out, because feminists have brainwashed men so badly that it has dissolved the hierarchy of the SMP in their minds. This dilusion that the supermodel could love the guy who just rolled off the couch in his parents' basement is Feminism's fault, not TRP. TRP is actively engaged in fixing what feminism broke, and that's the male ability to become the best version of himself.

It's different for men and women. Men like physical attractiveness and youth (typically) while women typically go for social status (the meaning of status can vary widely, it depends on the values of the specific woman and her social circle or community).

Here's the big difference: men like hot chicks no matter what they look like or how rich or poor they are. Poor men like hot chicks. Rich men like hot chicks. Ugly men like hot chicks. Good looking men like hot chicks.

Women's preferences, on the other hand, change with their own status. A poor woman may prefer to date a billionaire, but she'll usually settle for the broke charming guy in her poor neighborhood. But a rich woman will often be unwilling to settle for a poorer man. That's why they call it hypergamy- dating up.

As far as Miranda Kerr goes, I'm not complaining. In fact, I say good for her. She's a rich supermodel. Why shouldn't she marry a young billionaire guy if she can?

I agree with this. Both men and women are absolutely entitled to seek out the best partners they can get. Women can seek out the richest, highest status, best looking, most charming men they can get. Men can seek out the hottest, youngest legal, lowest baggage, nicest women they can get. But I'll point out that women don't always choose what's best for them. Miranda Kerr seems to have chosen a good husband, at least in terms of income (not sure what his personality is like, he might be an abusive vicious sociopath). But other women choose men who are charming manipulative assholes but who don't actually bring much to the table.
