Economically or socially, you gotta put in the work. Some are gonna have a lot easier time than others. For both things.

We don’t live in a socially fair one. As long as we place emphasis on society, we have to prioritize, and that means that it will always be unfair. That’s a latent manifestation of society. The consequence is what many call “social eugenics.”

How do we live in a socially fair world?

Yes, we are trying to move towards a fair world in as many ways that we can, but we are so far away from that.

In the US, we currently have state governments telling people that are trans that they don't have the right to exist, encouraging people to harass them just for using the bathroom or even harassing cis women who don't fit the stereotypical look.

We have state governments telling women they would rather see them dead then let them have basic rights to their own bodies.

We have state governments that think mentioning that same-sex people get married should be fireable offense.

That's not a socially fair world.

Is society responsible for making society fair? Also what is the metric of fairness? Is it equal opportunity (everyone gets the same chance to succeed but success is determined by actions)? Is it equality of outcome (everyone gets the same results regardless of what they do and the choices they make)?

I don’t think equality of outcome is fair because someone who is is a great partner shouldn’t be forced to be with a terrible partner and a terrible partner doesn’t deserve a good partner

I also think truly equal opportunity is impossible because since everyone is a product of their upbringing and genetics, everyone would need to have an equal upbringing and equal genetics for that to happen. Equality of opportunity is even harder than equality of outcome to enact via government due to this

I think the path towards economic equality is less controversial than the path towards sexual equality.

We already have taxes as long as civilization existed. The idea of paying even more taxes and giving to poorer people isn’t that far out of left field.

However solving something like sexual inequality - there isn’t really anyone mainstream who would put their name towards having more women sexually satisfy more or different men. In a way monogamy and the institution of marriage was kindof meant to promote sexual equality by making sure just 1 man and 1 woman paired off. Combine with wars killing off lots of men and it kindof worked to make sure not too many frustrated single men. No longer the case in our society.

I do think a government annual stipend that can be used on all manor of health care needs like massage therapy, psychologists, or yes, prostitutes, could be an idea that takes off though.

I'm not sure how much overlap there is between BP and the hard left; liberals, sure, but that's not the same thing, they want nothing to do with Marx.

As for Liberalism, it has always been nothing more than an apology for the excesses of the current dogma.

No one pressures guys to be attracted to anyone they aren’t attracted to - that’s a strawman. And I’m confused what you mean about joining their group as a “submissive underclass”.

I think most leftists agree that women have an easier time dating than men. And they are about social equality: the whole point is that women’s needs are as important as a man’s needs when dating.

Like what would your solution be to men having a harder time dating? Forcing women to date them, to promote “equality”? I can’t say I understand what you’re getting at with any of this - it just seems like you’re misinterpreting things

No, we do not live in a fair world, economically or socially. A perfectly fair world is not possible, but we can push it to become fairer, more free, and better.

I also don’t agree that men have it worse, socially. Men and women have many different challenges but share some. We can advocate for a group without stomping on another.
