I think this is a view from the past. Women have tremendously more options than men today, on average, and the vast majority of relationships I see are being ended by women, in part because they have so many more options.

There absolutely are a population of men who "fuck and run", and they are possibly the worst actors in dating these days, but that's only about 5 to 10% of men. That's why things like The Tea appexist, because a lot of women are all chasing the same men. But for the majority of men, it's the women leaving them.

Using single mother’s stat is not showing how easy women have it. It shows how easy it is for men to leave. In fact every example you used is men being unreliable.

In an ideal world, men and women will date based on realistic standards and preferences and everybody sort of wins.

But in the world we live in, we have a clear hierarchy and people get what they can based on their position in the hierarchy or they have go out of their way to prove their value.

The hierarchy has always been obvious the top men> top women> average women>average men

and even among the average men there are hierarchy based on height, good looks, income personality etc.

Now both levels of women are grasping at the top men and this is quite natural and biologically based. Top men usually come with caveats like the physical attraction, stability, social power etc. So every woman out there want men out of that particular group.

For the men in top, they are figuratively speaking, drowning in poon. Women desire them, throw themselves at them, give them what they have to offer to take that spot. In fact many women are fine to debase themselves as a mistress or a personal concubine as long as this man keeps her around and "claims" her as his. Any other indignation is irrelevant. Now these men are drowning in so much option that these women are replaceable as sheets in a hotel room. They also do not mind having some fun till they find the kind of woman who they think is worthy enough to birth the progeny and then start family. The rest of the women, they are just entertainment.

Women realize this too and in most cases, they rightfully keep the walls up to keep away the kind of men they think is unworthy or incompatible. Any man who has levelled up will tell you the same story- "Once I levelled up, all the women who rejected me now want me." There is also another factor that should be taken into account here. The greatest assets a woman can offer is her youth and personality and one of them fades with time, the other can becomes valuable in time if you focus on it. More women focus on the first because their primary attention is derived from it but things like poor life choices, childbirth affects the value of youth and it starts falling down, they tend put a relaxer on their inhibiting nature. I know this is going to be a poor example but a homeless woman would suck you off for 10 bucks and a woman from average and up social status will cry about splitting the bill and you even entertaining the idea of getting some action. Lower the social standard, more pliable and rigid the woman become.

Men do not have that option. You can be a very good looking man but that is not gonna take you far if you are one broke mf. Sure you will get some action from ovulating women but relationship wise, very few women will consider them serious enough . Most women will only consider such men in the hopes that this guy can maybe level up or are women who are just head over heels for him.

For a woman its a pure wildcard. she could think she found the one but the guy jumps the moment something better comes or its get complicated. This is only true if the guy in question is attractive. A woman gets a lot of attention from sincere men that she deems to be beneath her.

I hate this "both sides have it rough in their own ways" rhetoric. The experiences are not in any way on the same level. It's like saying rich people have their own problems to a homeless person.

I just love how you try to have this narrative that women when they have sex always will think of a man as "the one". When it's simply not true. There are many reasons to lose interest or break up even if it was on the relationship track before the relationship became something solid.
