Right now on PPD we have two threads, one saying that women are not clear that physical attractiveness is important to them and they need to be more clear, this cause a bit of argy bargy in the IRC which will become relevant later.

A second post where men are saying that looks do not matter as much to women.

Now where the irc thing comes in.

Someone on the irc said that asking a woman what she in a man is like asking her what she wants on a sandwich. She responds for the sandwich that she wants lettuce and tomato and the turkey she doesn't mention is attractiveness. So when she gets only lettuce and tomato she is diasppointed ie she got funny and intelligent but not attractive.

I argue that attractiveness is the bread, its implied. You can't have a sandwich with no bread, if you not attracted to a man he can tick all the other boxes but it doesnt matter, no sandwich.

Lets take this sandwich one step further, because yes personality does play a part. For women physical attractiveness is like one slice of bread in the sandwich, you gonna eat it right their (ie ONS) but you can't take it anywhere. For a portable sandwich (ie LTR) you need personality which add to the attractiveness.

So there you have it guys, for a women her list of things she wants in a man are sandwich toppings, but without the bread, you have no sandwich.
