This would presume the majority read bios to begin with. Excluding profiles of those individuals that are glaringly attractive upon a mere glance.

I have found that typically, when my friends have indicated this, they match with women who are immediately trying to get pregnant, not women who would like kids with a future husband

I have it on my profile I want children and I am lucky if I get a like once a month. My last like was 2 and half months ago and it was from some weird profile that only featured dogs. The one before the dog profile the woman never responded.

Commenting from the other side - I don't want kids, but when I used Tinder I had better results saying I'm "undecided" rather than actively childfree.

I imagine it works the same the other way round: the average person prefers a blank canvas over someone with strong preferences one way or the other.

Most women I see on dating apps specify they don't want kids, are still "undecided", or already have kids and don't want more. Women who explicitly or even implicitly want kids are a definite but notable minority. Perhaps this has something to do with my age group (mid 30's) or apps I'm using but I don't see what you're claiming reflected in most profiles.

Regardless though just putting in that you want kids is not going to suddenly majorly boost your matches even assuming most women using OLD did want kids. Most women are still going to pick the guy that's attractive enough and/or has enough social and wealth displays. Top % guys stay winning in every scenario.

Women often complain that men are just fuckboys in their profiles.

Women want commitment from the attractive "fuckboy", not the same thing as having kids.
