Id go so far as to say a man has to be borderline REMARKABLE in some shape or form for a women to find them genuinely attractive.

There are many ways for a man to seem “remarkable” to a woman, though. I’ve personally had some women who were very aroused by me while others wanted nothing to do with me. I was the same man to both groups of women, though. The difference is that my traits appealed genetically to some women but not to others based upon those women’s personalities.

This is really what things are like for the typical man out there. Very few men will turn on almost all women or turn off almost all women. Yes, women are selective, but that does not mean that average men have no chance to reproduce, especially if those men work to try to fit into some niche of female attraction.

No. Humans don't work like that.

Humans have higher reasoning skills that allow them to forego immediate gratification for long term benefits. As such they are able to act contrary to evolutionary biology and their behavior can't be predicted the same way as other animals behavior.

This is why psychology and sociology are sciences. It takes more information to predict groups of humans, and requires much more study.

Women's attraction is based on perpetuating their genes just like men's is. They have to be more selective due to limited capacity for reproduction but at the end of the day men and women want the best genes to combine with their own, because that is the best outcome for passing your own genes on. It's not the only factor of course, also in consideration are what they can realistically get and what the environment/upbringing for children will be and other stuff. Also sex serves somewhat of a social function in humans so it isn't only based on this stuff.

And even if it was only based on this stuff it wouldn't only be genetics, with the other factors that are considered you are going to compromise on some of them. It makes sense to only be immediately attracted to a tiny % of men if the genetics are so good it's worth taking a risk on the other stuff, but it also makes sense to have genuine attraction grow for less attractive men if they are a good partner.

Your biological theory doesn’t hold ground, simply because humans are thinking and speaking mammals with preferences for mates that go beyond physical attributes.

Additionally, men do care about finding a women whose genes they wish to carry on. If they didn’t, so many men wouldn’t commit to a woman for the rest of their lives and have families with that woman. It’s called love and commitment.

Women do have more at stake when it comes to reproduction, so being more selective makes sense. However, you are aware a child also gets his/her mother’s genes, right? She’s not just an incubator for his sperm. Males strongly prefer physically attractive women even if they’ll stick their dick in anything, because they also want the best genes. And women also have an instinct to pass on their genes. So it’s not quite so simple as you make it. Women and men alike also have to look for good parenting traits since human children take so long to grow up. And modern humans usually seek companionship from their sexual/romantic partners, so that opens a whole new can of worms when it comes to desirable traits.

The vast vast vast majority of sex has nothing at all to do with babies. Human's are way more complex then "this would make a good baby".

People have sex because of pleasure and desire without any thought to genetics. It's dumb as shit to think that all sex and all sexual motivation is about mating.

Men are less selective because before civilization and moving out of Africa, it was literally pump and dump. Women are more selective, because they are saddled with pregnancy and then a kid for X years.
