I used to recommend Marry Him: the Case for Settling for Mr. Good Enough, by Lori Gottlieb all the time. The title sounds terrible and is basically click-bait, which is the reason it caught my eye when I made a New Year's book display as a librarian in 2015.

Gottlieb, 42, tells her own story of missed chances with good men, as she gives the advice she wishes someone had given her at 27. She talks about the deal breakers women list and how realistic it is to actually find a man who meets all these requirements, even citing statistics on balding, height, etc.

It's an excellent read for someone in a place where she really wants to settle down and is worried she's passed up a good man by being too picky. I thought I was being reasonable at the time I read it, but I met my husband six months later. He's 5'8" with red hair and balding, worked in oil and lived over an hour away... all things my searches would have ignored at the time.

Edit: This is not specifically a Red Pill book, but a field report from a regretful 90s feminist.

If you like fiction - I have read The little house on the prairie to my 9 year old and I absolutely loved it myself. We are currently listening to the secret garden. I got the audible plus subscription where there are a lot of the classics included.

A Woman of Strength and Purpose. It's a Christian based book - but I think its message is great for everyone.

I loved this book. I am a high achiever, very strong willed and stubborn, and quite independent. But I am also empathetic, caring, and kind. And this book showed me that my strong spirit is a gift to me as a woman. It gives me the ability to serve my community and lift others up who need help, it makes me able to run a home efficiently and orderly, and finally helps me serve the man in my life by being someone who he knows can support his big vision.

Bruce Bryans has several concise and practical audio books/ guides, and a favorite among them is" 7 Irresistible Qualities Men Want in a Woman" .

I also enjoyed For Women Only by Shaunti Feldhahn, and Fascinating Womanhood.

For fiction: The Alchemist. To be it illustrates a lovely tale of a boy becoming a man trying to fulfill his legacy, whilst knowing he ultimately needs and yearns for the love of a woman to complete him.

He's Just Not That Into you - a classic fun read that helps to learn to filter out wishy/washyness in courtship. Good for all ages, but especially younger women.

The Caring And Feeding of Husbands/Marriage - . The comforts of 21st century life can make us kind of self-centered and entitled in our lives and in our relationships. This book puts things in perspective. I like Dr. Laura because she talks openly about the duties and sacrifices women who want to be wives have to their spouses and marriage.

The Alpha Female's Guide to Men and Marriage - good deprogramming for modern "assertive" ladies. Many women use being strong/feminism as a cover for being high-conflict, self-centered, or difficult. This book talks about that, men's needs, and relationships

His Needs, Her Needs - good primer on the differences in the sexes

The Rules Revisted blog - short posts that get to the point of female game. It helps women become more solution oriented and realistic about the dating market, and the male perspective IMO

The 5 Love Languages/ John Gottman Books on relationships

Miss Manners books on Ettiquette dovetail well in promoting courtesy and poise

Other books on stoicism/self-help - How to Win Friends, Meditations and The Daily Stoic
