Edit: Please I am not looking for diet advice. I have a good diet and am very disciplined and working slowly and steadily to lose weight. I'm asking for advice to deal with men who try to get me to break my discipline and ruin my goals.

I work very hard to maintain my weight and I'm even trying to lose 10-15lbs.

However I find it very difficult going on dates because the guy always says something along the lines of "oh you're dieting, come on eat more" or if we want to do something fun like go to the beach and have a smoothie, I always order a low calorie drink like sparkling water, or iced black coffee. And he'll say something again.

It really irritates me because my weight is important to me, and I'm trying to lose pounds which takes effort. But then it seems like I can't really have fun either - declining desserts, asking to share, or I'll order my own, eat half then throw it away.

Dinner usually goes like this - guy eats as much as he wants and I'm pushing around my food having tiny bites, declare that I'm full, then sit there staring around while he eats his manly muscular calories.

Any advice? How can I be graceful and fun to be around while losing some weight?

Oh, and the guy always says I'm fine the way I look, but I know deep down if I ate as much as him I'd gain weight and I can't allow myself to "keep up" with his eating. It almost angers me when men don't understand how much less a girl can eat to maintain weight.

BMI currently at 23, want to get to 20-21.
