The world is not limited to "nice guys" and alphas, nor do all women want the same thing. There's an entire range of humans and cultures and what they value differs greatly.

Hogwash. My husband and I had an easy, drama free courtship and he's wonderful. Respectful adults don't have to play games like this. This woman is garbage for thinking about men the way she does and that does not mean all women are garbage.

Anyone who thinks like that is much lower value than someone not making "enough" money or not being "alpha". If there are woman in relationships thinking like that, they need to set their partners free and do some serious self reflection.

Edit-in relationships you're supposed to build each other up. The women in these quotes are just sitting around waiting for their partners to magically turn into these "better men", or bringing down their self esteem so much they don't feel like they can become one. I don't think is why "we" don't like nice guys, it's why spoiled, entitled women don't like nice guys.

If you think like that.. why bother even dating him. You are wasting his and your time. Eventually will lead to a break up. Respect is very important in a relationship. Don't settle for anything less.

Yup. I was that nice guy and those quotes are what went through my ex's head. Eventually I found my self respect and left her, and then grew even more with RedPill sidebar.

The funny thing is, a nice guy can also become much better and more alpha, if the girl pushes him into that direction, instead of just nagging and pilling on resentement based on her insecurities.

Women are the selectors of mates in our society. Its true that women want men who challenge them and make life interesting. They like a man who makes her feel small and sexy (hence hight) and women crave stability (hence wealth). These are not bad things to want. The biggest problem is when you look to marry someone already "complete" rather than marry potential.

My husband graduated college the week we got married and had no job for two years. We lived off 30k a year in California. Read ABJECT POVERTY.

However!

My husband got a BA in Civil Engineering. Smart. When he did get a job he instantly made double what I made. In the next three years we had 2 kids, bought a house, and next month we are paying off his student loans. He is a hard worker and super motivated. He has doubled his salary in raises and promotions by kicking butt for his family.

Wealth and confidence are generally byproducts of a desirable personality type. Too many mistake the wealth and status as the goal, not the journey.

I don't do drama, I don't get pissed or jealous, I don't feed the hamster. One ex broke up with me because of this. 10 years later, she confessed to me that I was the best thing that ever happened in her life, as she passed the wall (no comebacks though).

So, according to the article:

HVM = 6ft, have ripped abs, jerk confidence and a fancy house and car

LVM = Nice guy, as described in the quotations

It’s almost like there is no variation in the definition of HVM and that there’s no average value male in between HVM and LVM.

I consider my husband a HVM, but he comes just shy of 6’ at 5’11” (I’m very, very petite so he’s still waaaay taller than I am), so I guess he isn’t high value?

My husband doesn’t have “ripped abs” but does look like this, so that’s a plus.

He has jerk level confidence, but he always answers right away when I text, so I’m not sure if he’s a “nice guy”?

He has a fancy car and house, but earns less than I do now that he’s retired.

I didn’t settle in a single one of my preferences when I was looking for a husband, but my the standards in the article I married a LVM. I would love for the author to read my husband’s stats, tell him he’s low value and then actually meet him irl. What. A. Joke.

This article is a load of bull. Not every woman that isn’t married to a the bachelor contestant hates their husband unless they are a complete narcissist like the op. Also, why is it irrational to not want a guy who has no self respect or balls? Just because a guy showers you with affection doesn’t mean that he is the best for you if he does that to every woman who gives him the time of day. I have a feeling that this article was either written by a narcissist female that assumes that all women think that way or a bitter red pill guy who who wants to promote the “women can’t love” stereotype.

As a men, i agree with those comments. Nice guys are like little kids. Who makes their partner the centre of their attention and prays her. As a men i have goals and guess what women is the least priority. Even my bike cleaning take higher priority then her.
