You are not a logic robot

Tactically, what this means is that you operate with "Hell yes or hell no" mindset. That you are either all in or all out.

While this is good advice, how would you advise someone to pull this off without being a logic robot? (and I'm asking as a logic robot :p).

Whatever delay you impose is for you to be sure, not for him to be invested, because men don't work like that.

But men with plenty of options don't tolerate delays beyond waiting for mutual health-checks to come back clean, and younger women need more time to make a good decision.

"Hell yes" and a total lack of relationship experience means there are way too many "unknown"s (after all, male attractiveness is almost entirely behavioural), and whatever decision made is closer to a gamble than anything tactical. Gamble was what I did (because robots are good at calculating odds), but gambling is not actionable advice for anyone who isn't a robot.

How would you suggest dealing with this dilemma?

That's great and all but I've been following all advice to 'not switch partners' here for quite a while and one hasn't stuck yet... So, if I would follow this advice (just have sex whenever you think you found a good one, be a good girl and he will commit) would quickly turn me into a slut. So idk what to do, dude...

Sorry I took your words out of context to make a joke, but at the time I couldn't take your post seriously.

You have said a number of times that a woman’s attraction to a man is based on his behavior. I recently read a post “Women do not have a sex drive” on TRP. The OP said:

Female sexuality is REACTIVE - it's not the dull aching horniness that men experience. It is rapid-onset response to desirable male attention.

The price of male attention is sex. Sex is the glue that holds male attraction firmly in place. 1

Ipso facto women are willing to pay the sex price and a natural feedback loop is created; male attention makes her "sexual", the sex engenders more attention from the male, the attention makes her FEEL "sexual", and so on.

They fuck because they want to FEEL sexual. Not because they want sex.

I agree with this. If my husband has a dry spell due to stress or exhaustion that lasts more than a few days I suffer because I need sex to feel like I am still desirable to him. It is his male attention I crave, not the act itself. I am going to assume that RP theory would say it is his behavior that fosters my need for his attention and keeps my attraction strong.

That being said, I am also in a position that allows me to really know the man I have sex with. I know who my husband is and will continue to be if I do my part, which is to love him with a genuine passion. How can any woman who is not in a committed relationship, know a man enough to give him the passion he desires from her, if all she has to go on is his behavior in the moment?

In its tactical doctrine, having sex with a man is not making a mistake, it is choosing a mate. Once you have gotten naked with someone, you have effectively thrown your hat in the ring, and are banking on your ability to keep him.

How can a woman choose a mate based only on a short amount of time to assess his behavior? If she only makes that decision based on her need for male attention from him, because he is great at making her feel sexy, why would she even have the first clue as to what would make him a good mate or how to keep him?

Keeping a partner is, of course, never completely under your control. This is simply the risk that goes with being the gatekeeper of sex, rather than relationships. But the first step to not switching partners is to know that it's not a good idea to do so, that you only want to do it for overriding, serious reasons, and that no other form of sexual continence matters all that much.

So if you stay with a man you have sex with and he does not commit to a monogamous relationship, you become a plate. The other choice is to change partners. Are you are suggesting that a woman take the risk and open herself up to passionately loving a man based on her attraction in the present, damn the consequences, and if you don’t some other woman will take her place? And at the same time suggest that if she takes this course she better be prepared to stay, unless of course he dumps her first?

I guess my feathers are ruffled, because I still need to comment on this post.

I don’t know the statistics, but I have to believe it is the rare woman who perceives her vagina as a thing. Now breasts, yes, many of us may consider things. Things we need to find a bra to fit, things that are too big or too small depending on one’s self image, and lastly things that function beyond our control: hardening nipples, swelling during periods, and releasing milk upon hearing a babies cry. These things do something and are outside of the body and are beyond our control.

A vagina, on the other hand, does nothing on its own. It is not a thing, but a passage way. A woman’s clit may be considered a thing, in the sense that it has a purpose of its own, in fact its only purpose. A man may consider his penis a thing that is a extension of his body, as a woman’s breasts and clit are, but a vagina is an integral part of a women that cannot be easily removed just as you cannot remove a tunnel from a mountain. A man may consider a vagina a thing because gives him pleasure and entrance to her uterus. But to a woman, a vagina is merely a conduit to all of her internal functioning, including physical and psychological changes. She really doesn’t give it much thought unless it has been abused. Correct me if I am wrong on this, ladies, but it is not our vagina that is the powerful thing. It is only opens a door. The power lies in what is on the other side of the door.

Because there is only one sexual act you can perform that men object to. Everything else, absent that one act, is okay, and often more than okay. Which means you get to have your fun, indulge your kinks, do whatever, so long as you stay away from one thing…

So my guess is that this one thing is not to pour hot wax on a man's erection. Any other guesses out there? lol

I would add the addendum that, in many religious circles “just close your legs” until marriage is a perfectly acceptable option that ultimately makes you a better catch than someone with even a low n-count. Context matters.
