Thredup has a ton of designer clothes. They're an online secondhand store, I've had lots of luck with them.

Surprised nobody has mentioned Mango. Excluding the feminist tshirts, they have a lot of classy, elegant clothes at prices equivalent to H&M and Zara's.

Check out r/frugalfemalefashion and they have links to great deals and coupons. I’ve used thredup a couple times but prefer in person thrift stores in the richer part of town. Or clothing swaps/hand me downs from friends. H&M, Zara, Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, F21, & Abercrombie are my go tos but I’m a little younger. I know most hate on f21 for quality but I’ve had 0 issues with them (I wash on delicate cycle and hang dry).

Edit: tj maxx has a lot of Calvin Klein for about $20-25 per dress and is super flattering

I mostly shop in vintage boutiques, but not everyone has the patience for that.

For new clothes online, I have two favorites: Asos and Yoox.

Asos is reasonable and has a great return policy (their vip membership is cheap and gives unlimited free 2 day shipping and returns). If I'm looking for something in particular, say a red dress, I will buy 5 dresses, maybe multiple sizes of each, and send back all but one or two favorites.

Yoox has a huge inventory of know and unknown designers' mainly older collections, and you can buy really high end stuff for a fraction of the regular price, especially during their sales. Like 70-90% discount. I search by my size and whatever I'm looking for , I also put a lot into my dream box and just wait for sales to start to see if something there drops. Great return policy as well, including what's on sale.

Oooo! Zara is great, have to try a lot of different sizes on though, the H&M conscious line is fabulous. Loft is great for basics. I also am a fan of Banana republic and J crew, their factory stuff is a steal sometimes.

If you want to take more of the slow or sustainable fashion route with a bit more money, try— Amour Vert, Everlane, Lou & Grey, Aritzia, Madewell, etc.

Dept stores like TJmaxx and Dillards is always great too- I also love to sign up for Gilt and Rulala and Zulily, stores that have limited time slots but you can find some good stuff. Shop Bop is great to get designer things too.

I love American Eagle, Forever 21, and Dolls Kill but that last one isn't exactly classic and stylish lol.
we're the same shape and I have a lot of success shopping from sites like Yesstyle as long as I size up.

Yesstyle has a pretty mixed rep because it can be hit or miss but I've ordered some great clothes from there that I've worn for years without them breaking the same way clothes from forever 21 do.

The main problem people have with Yesstyle seems to be the sizing and the fake sales they use to entice people in with but if you can look past that and have an hourglass figure you'll be fine

i suggest you to check on Kibbes body types, to look for clothes that suit your exactly bone structure and body shape , you can check Aly Art's tutorials on youtube about kibbe's body types, it includes not only what clothes are ideal for you, also the accesories, shoes, hair cuts, etc. it worked for me and after learning about it i dont waste money on clothes that will not make me look at my best . good luck and sorry for my english !

trashy diva is pricy but it’s vintage reproduction that’s comfortable and lasts a while. i have a TD dress i bought five years ago that’s still in like new condition and i wear it every few weeks.

you can also try pinup girl clothing. it’s more 50s but it has the bold colors you are looking for.

trashy diva is based in new orleans and pinup girl clothing is in burbank, california, so i have found trashy diva to be more appropriate in hot, humid weather while the PUG is perfect for winter, as the cloth is a bit thicker. both have longevity that is unparalleled though. i would say trashy diva is print-based and PUG has more staple pieces in solid colors, however, they both offer prints and solid color items.

Idk your style but I like Teddy Fresh. They use a lot of colors, usually pastel. I also like Golfwang but never bought anything because its kinda expensive. I like to check out r/streetwear for inspiration

Everlane is one of my favorites for basics. One thing I've found is that material really makes the clothes. Natural fibers and good construction go a long way

I really like Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein dresses, like the stuff you could get at Macy’s but buy it on sale.

I also used to really like Ivanka Trump dresses, if that isn’t against your political views. I don’t buy them any more, but I have several.
