Here is a perfect blue pill example from my past. Nearly six years later, this story still blows me away.

I've never had a problem getting girls, I've always gotten their attention, I've always had one around and when she wasn't, I'd always find another. My problem was whenever there was one that I couldn't catch, I wouldn't move on - thinking my "nice guy" would achieve victory in the end. That idea is so far from the truth its hard to explain. If a girl has your attention, and you don't have hers - find another girl before you come off as a creeper, or even worse a friend.

I was in college saw this 10 at a party got her number and texted her the next day - mistake. She didn't reply. This is where I should have stopped. However, I've never been able to accept defeat. Surely she just needed to get to know me and find out how good of a guy I was and then she would be interested - mistake, this is never the case. They don't care how good of a guy you are. I continued to text her every so often, not anything crazy because I didn't want to come off as a creep, but I was definitely orbiting her. I was hoping she was at every party I went to, I was following her on every social media, and I even started to text her about things just to get a reply, not to hangout or anything - mistake, this puts you on a fast track to being used. I was selling drugs at the time, and finally got her to respond when she wanted to buy so many so and so's. I deliver them to her dorm room and put some extra so and so's in there and charge her basically nothing- mistake, she didn't even notice nor did she care. I left with her room with barely a conversation.

After months of a text every few weeks that were never responded to. I grew a ball (just one) and lost her number. Fast forward two years and I start seeing her hanging out with my group of friends. My blue pill ass thinks its fate and we are destined to meet again -mistake, no matter how different you think things are, they are never any different, and she still won't give you the time of day.

I casually drop into a few house parties delivering some so and so's she's drunk see's me and starts hugging and telling everyone how long she's known me blah blah. At the time, I think I may be in - mistake, you never "think" you are you only know you are. If you think you might be, you're not. She just wanted everyone to know that she knew the dopeman.

Fast forward a few months and I've fallen into the friend zone. However, I think I'm in a good spot, eventually she will see how much of a good guy I am - mistake, the friend zone is never a good spot and she doesn't care how much of a good guy you are.

One night, she calls me drunk crying about how Chad was a dick blah blah blah and she's downtown alone and she needs a ride home and I can sleep over at her place. I think it's my chance - so I go pick her up - mistake, never drop what you're doing to go pick a girl up. I take her home and we put on a movie and lay in her bed. We make out a little and she says she will be right back and she goes into her living room. About 30 mins pass before I go out there and find her laying on the couch pretending to be asleep. I wake her up and she tells me Chad is on his way over. But I can go back to bed in her bed they will sleep on the couch. WHAT!? I fuckin blow my lid and leave - mistake, this shows too much emotion. I should have walked out without saying shit.

tl;dr beta Orbited a 10 for years before i thought I had my chance, and chad showed up.

Lessons Learned: If a girl is interested, she will show interest. Nothing is going to change that.
