I’m a former marine, 6’2”, light body builder and startup founder/ceo. I’ve worked hard to get to where I am today.

Recently I decided to make a dating profile and got a surprising amount of matches. Granted, the options were not super high quality, but enough that I’d agree to get my dick wet.

But then something dawned on me. While I’ve been talking to 5+ girls, I realized I don’t actually like being in a relationship that much. I’ve been in them before, but I feel happiest when I have options/freedom. Most of my time is only spent doing 5 things: working, gym, sleeping, eating (and fucking, when the opportunity arises). That’s it. I don’t like getting out of that routine. Adding a woman into the equation just brings fights, attention grabbing, financial drainage, and other stress.

The only exception I might make is if she’s extraordinarily committed to making my life easier. I’ve had one girl who did this and even then the chemistry just wasn’t there. Most women are primarily a liability - only very few are true assets. For the longest time I felt I needed to find “the one” only to realize they add more stress than they’re worth. The illusion was broken.

Any other guys 30+ feel this way? I enjoy my peace. I want to keep it that way, but I don’t know if it’s just constant indoctrination from social media saying “don’t get married” or if this is how I actually feel.
