My experience in dealing with my own friends is that a lot of Black guys tend to heavily underestimate their own SMV when it comes to being attractive to non-black girls. They may have had one or two really bad experiences with genuinely racist girls (who do exist), so that apprehension isn't really unwarranted. However, thinking all those girls just hate you for no reason is just as unwarranted. You will be surprised. You can "tier" peoples in this order:

Chinese/Indian - arabian/middle eastern - white (wide mix here, from latinos to nordics) - black.

I'm quite pleased at all the responses this posting has received. It's amusing and more than a bit disturbing to see the blatantly racist comments by some posters (from all races). I want to believe that they are mostly trolls looking to get a rise out of me and others; however I think they're forgetting or perhaps may not know that humanity's origins started in Africa specifically (The out of Africa theory). Again it's waaaay off topic...

Much of what I'm hearing from people with success, and please forgive my ignorance, sounds like bravado. I am well traveled and have been to East Asia and Southeast Asia. In general I will say that it is in general easier for Southeast Asians to show more affinity for Black guys than it is for East Asian women. This is indeed based on my personal experiences and I think many guys have anecdotally said the same thing to varying degrees. However even with Southeast Asians there is still a quite a bit of unnecessary fear and trepidation with regards to Black guys. Example: A very pretty girl I was going out with in Vietnam told me that she and her friends would never date Black guys, but when she talked to me she said her image of what she thought we were like completely changed.

Again the general rule is true that Asian girls hate/dislike Black guys. Now I can attest that from many of the responses I've gotten that we can take in to account that this is one part culture clash (but I have always found this to be a bit of a red herring since western culture in general clashes with a lot of eastern ideology and these girls tend to predominately favor white guys so...)

I think there is a general consensus that hypergamy itself could be a giant factor and they don't see Black men as being economically viable enough to date/ mate with (Maybe Asian women could be the most hypergamous women on the planet. I think culturally as a people Asian people do have an disturbing fixation with white skin. I know this is due to the old class structures that are now in place on a social level in which people with dark skin = farmer (low class), white skin = ruler/government official (high class). (Again this could correlate back more to hypergamy) One interesting thing to note would be that there is a difference between being congenitally born White as opposed to just having a desk job in doors where you get less son, or bleaching ones own skin to become more white. I doubt the girls really take this into account when forming their opinions of Black guys.

A couple people have mentioned intelligence, but I'm prone to think that what they may really may be referring to by their posts is education. I can easily attest that I am by no means very intelligent but I am an educated person who continues to grow and learn.

I did like the okcupid data that one poster put up. I think that was very eye-opening and a good illustrator of said topic. It's dated material, yes, but that is real data that gives a good glimpse into the truth.

I think it mostly has to do with average IQs. While you surely are intelligent and a worthy man ( no offense ) the average IQ of Blacks is the lowest of all.
