In 5 years I’ve experienced what most of you would call a Herculean coming-of-age adventure. The beginning of which is exactly where many of you stand today. Beyond the red pill is a great big world to be explored, and if you understand yourself a little bit better you may just be the next person to push past it. It’s time to grow up and unfuck yourself.

An article posted on the subreddit a couple months ago called out browns on their evasiveness. Browns are a good group to analyze because they actually work, they just never get anywhere. They’re a subgroup like many of you who put meaningless work in then pull a surprised pikachu face when they see no results. I would like to share with you another reason for this phenomenon called “brown apathy”.

The way you act when alone sets the stage for how you’ll behave when you are not. Higher action is never subordinated to lower action. Because you spend more time making eye contact with pixels than people, being in a social setting generates more stress than being alone. This is important for three reasons. The first is you have the social skills of a plant. The second is your anxiety which is a symptom of not making any serious effort to challenge yourself unless someone else is watching. The third reason is you make bad decisions slowly. There’s too much shit going on when you’re with people to consciously think in real time. In an effort to make a good decision you sit there in your head while the world moves on. Your subconscious and intuition are your primary weapons in the social arena. Both of these amazing human tools are built from the compounded effects of things you have already done (books read, weight lifted, dooms scrolled).

Picture this: a 20 something year old guy wakes up and the first thing he does is doom scroll Youtube Shorts for an hour. What expression is on his face? Probably the same blank stare he will eye rape people with throughout the day.

Browns usually know that what they do changes who they are. They learn this from the ethics of their parents; however, they only learn this within the framework of liberal education structures. This makes them miss the key point that real growth requires actually putting in effort. They go to Niagara falls with their cameras and bindis and expect that a picture in front of it will do anything for them. In this example they will never take the time to read and understand the historical, cultural, and socioeconomic implications the site has had on its immediate environment by touring a unique underground museum. They will then never be able to apply this information when confronted with a similar situation making all the effort they put into traveling worthless. Like their protestant white overlords, they check boxes and go through the motions expecting things to change. They fall for the trap of just showing up every single time.

You know that guy who said showing up is half the battle? He was likely a scrawny fuck. Anyone jacked knows you have to pour your soul into the weight to see results. They understand the intensity they have to dedicate in the weight, kitchen, and bedroom. This is the root of brown apathy: they think they are doing everything right without ever actually challenging themselves. They go through the motions and year after year see no results. They half ass skim read and warp texts to fit whatever they think they already know. They never discuss with other people, think they are special and don’t have to actually put effort in. It is for this reason they never experience any transmutation of energy which would fix their so-called problems. The good news is this is a simple fix.

Picture this: the same 20 year old from before wakes up, opens his curtains and breathes in fresh air while gazing at the sunrise. He closes his eyes and recognizes the familiar chirping of his local fauna. What does he look like now?
