I was reading a different article on The Guardian and I stumbled across an article talking about you guys

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/nov/15/alt-right-manosphere-mainstream-politics-breitbart

I personally find the article amusing for multiple reasons. The first amusing observation being that the journalist doesn't actually explain why any of the claims made by the alt-right (or red-pillers, w/e you guys call yourselves idc) are factually incorrect. For example the article points out

On their forums I’ve read long, furious manifestos claiming that women are all sluts who “ride the cock carousel” and sleep with a series of “alpha males” until they reach the end of their sexual prime, at which point they seek out a “beta cuck” to settle down with for financial security.

Ignoring the term "slut" I don't see how this observation is wrong, it's just basic biology. Also the article makes no attempt to explain why this empirical claim is incorrect. Then again I guess expecting journalists to make arguments based on facts instead of feelings is too high of a standard.

Also right after this the journalist writes

I’ve lurked silently on blogs dedicated to “pick-up artistry” as men argue that uppity, opinionated, feminist women – women like myself – need to be put in their place through “corrective rape”.

Now I'm not a lurker of this subreddit or the manosphere in general, but I do know enough that there are a lot of guys who don't like the PUA-shit. However I find this hard to believe, tell me, how many of you believe this "corrective rape" shit? I'm skeptical that this is a common view, rather I bet this journalist looked for the most extreme person possible and then dishonestly used that person as an example of a typical manosphere participant.

Lastly and the main point of this article, the journalist writes

When we fret about young people leaving western countries and going to fight with Isis, it’s common to focus on the role of the internet in their political radicalisation. It’s time we discussed the radicalisation of angry, young white men in a similar way. The manosphere gave us Elliot Rodger.

Lol.

Alright so we should worry about you guys and the manosphere because..........one guy took it too far? This is so transparently pathetic and hilarious when you juxtapose this to how liberals and the mainstream media react to radical Islam. If you dare say anything about radical Islam at all you're called a racist even though there are dozens of examples of Muslims being radicalized on the internet and then going out and killing people. Dozens. Yet when only one example can be found of a person in the manosphere doing this "Oh we have to address this." Also twice as many British Muslims (The Guardian is a British news organization) leave the UK to join ISIS than Muslims who join the army. But apparently that is racist and not at all alarming, but a single crazy individual in your guys community warrants discussion. Yeah okay lol.

Also another thing is, don't you guys get accused of being basement dwelling virgin losers who have no power/relevance all the time? So which is it? Are you guys influential dangerous people that we should be concerned of, or are you guys irrelevant losers? Idk looks like the left wing mainstream media can't keep their story straight and are holding two contradictory view points..........but then again I suspect none of you are surprised by this.
