Been here for a year and some months now. Ive made insane progress, but still nowhere where I want to be as a man yet. Every once in awhile ill be watching a movie and still think "man thatd be nice to have hope i can find a girl like that" before snapping the fuck back to reality. I dont think any of us will EVER be where we want to be, actually. The RP journey can be compared to lifting. You love your progress, but you can always be better, and will always find something that can be improved.

If a few months of lifting made you sculpted, it wouldn't have nearly as much value. I welcome the challenge and effort needed for this kind of turnaround because I know weaker minded people have no chance and it will make it that much more impressive.

It's a lifelong process.

Like working towards a nice body. A lot of fatties think that once they will have reached a preconceived weight, then they're done. Not hardly. Two people can have the exact same height, build, weight and still have wildly different body compositions.

There is no cramming real improvement in anything. It's a time investment. It would be nice if you could whip out a credit card and get it instantly gratified, but then, everyone would be doing that.

Thank you for the reminder. I'm a 35 year old lifelong beta that discovered RP a few weeks ago. I'm reading through the curriculum and taking my time with dread levels but there is an underlying force that just wants to go full RP immediately. There's so much lost time, so much anger, so much disappointment, and so much pain but genuine, satisfying progress needs to be slow and steady. I'm staying the course and controlling those emotions.

Only recently did I read the fine print on my red pill prescription. Right under "Go Lift" it states: "...daily for the rest of your life. Same applies to all other self improvements. Beta symptoms significantly subside after a year minimum."

Allegories aside, the greatest life lesson TRP has imparted on me, that I'm currently still struggling to learn, is that of patience.

I have a recent example of exactly this, and if more of our 'more experienced' members were to Do something similar, we will see TRP's knowledge grow and spread much further, much faster, something I think we all agree is beneficial to All men, and subsequently, all women too!

I can remember being 17 and wanting everything to happen yesterday. I was as 'eager' as one could be, but it also caused me frustration due to my lack of understanding. I wanted to see "fruits for my labors" TODAY! As a result I was at times my own worst enemy!

I'm now 49 and have a fairly good grasp of most things RP and a maybe even a little more.

I am happy to help and share my experience, esp with the younger guys, many who seem to have few, if any, decent male role models let alone 'regular feedback' from a man they can relate to and who they can come to respect, which is why I spend most of my time on askTRP.

About three months ago I read a post in askTRP by a 17yo Mormon kid living in bumfuck Ohio ... he made a comment about being too poor and too far away to afford a gym membership so he had to lift rocks in bags!

I liked his attitude -- little did I know he was joking! (duh!)

I'm not sure if I should feel stupid for not seeing this (untruth) however I replied to his post and told him to pm me if he ever wanted any help and ideas for exercising by himself.

He did, shortly afterwards, and that's how I met a young 17yo C.

Since then we've stayed in touch, soon it became a daily back and forth about Life in general, nothing specifically RP -- except that TRP's mantra of "Only You can DO it" was IMHO The essence of TRP and how "only HE could DO it",, all I could do was 'offer support' and encouragement whilst helping him deal with his day to day 'mindfuck' which was caused/based upon the bullshit he was being forced to believe!

Fuck that for a Joke, and I told him so, however, I didn't just shoot down all his 'knowledge' (as a lot of it is ok, it's the Crazy shit that's not ok IMO, so) I also offered him 'alternative ways of thinking' about the same things, from another pov. This was more helpful than I first realized.

I told him how I can remember being 17 (and what my life was like at the time) and I told him how I understood it could be a "cunt of an age to be" BUT, (a word which 'negates' most of what has been said before it - another thing I taught him) it was also The Period of his life where he could seize the opportunities available and IF HE put in the Work and consistently applied the things he's learning to his life, things would most definitely improve.

Next, I basically challenged his Moron beliefs and we discussed spirituality at length and I introduced him to Buddhism as I feel it's a "no bullshit" belief system and is highly applicable to one's Life.

He was quick to agree! Whilst he's still involved on a physical level with "the church", at least his Mind is Free from the delusional madness the LDS's talk. This has had a significant effect on his overall behavior and state of wellbeing

I was also liberal in my use of swear words as I often type as I speak and I did so with him, which was pretty funny at the beginning ... but he got used to it (I did this as I wanted to 'desensitize' him to such things)

Especially as, he was never gonna get his dick wet if he couldn't say the word 'fuck'!

In the past 12 weeks, this kid has come SO far, it's very encouraging to me, for IF the information I had shared with him was 'wrong', he wouldn't have got to where he is now!

Now he's able to relax far more as shows in some of his pm's. (He NEVER swore before! lol)

People wonder why I hate church. People wonder why I hate my church classes. Because they don't do shit for me. The learning environment is shit. The people are (Mostly.) shit, the rest are decent. The classes are shit. Today, people demanded I go to the first class of the day. So I did. I hated it.

The other day he wrote this to me in a pm telling me about his weekend.

It's incredible where my life seemed to go. Went from being a complete loser who everyone hated, to being a lot less of a loser who has girls who wanted to play stripping games with him. 10/10, would stripping games again.

This shit makes my day.

Maybe there are others out there who would benefit from doing this, as I have, for I believe "we teach best what we need to know" and we can only truly teach something once we "know" it. Doing this gives me the opportunity to both help another guy and remind myself of things we can tend to forget.

Just read about the five stages of TRP. I've decided that I've either went from stage two to five several months ago or I'm still in anger phase. I don't even know. I know I'm past denial, because I was denying everything I read about TRP when I first found it, thinking women weren't like that and that "these evil men must be stopped!".

Of course, that was before K turned on me. After that, I just kinda got really depressed, because I loved her so much that the thought of living without her was unbearable.

I don't think I've gone through any of the stages other than denial and anger, but I feel like I'm at the acceptance phase. But it doesn't make sense that I'd get there so quickly.

I suppose there's no point in worrying about it, (indeed there is not!) though. I'm going to do exercise NOW and then reply to everything I can.

I doubt very much he would've had this attitude 3 mths ago!

IMHO, He's well into the 'acceptance' phase becoz he's never really been 'burnt' by a female, And he has someone like me to help him logically deal with the (minor) mindfuck girls used to give him, which, together with TRP basics has him going strong!

TL:DR: You 17yo guys Rock, and IF you hang in here at TRP and TRY your best to follow the 'guidelines', things will definitely improve in all areas of your Life!

So hang in here fellas, and learn that Life is a Journey, that ends when you Die and The journey of a lifetime, begins with 'a step' ... TRP is a complete 'belief system' that never 'ends', it only gets Bigger!

Most young guys come here for pussy advice. When they make the short term improvements they start to pull and then they get cocky. Reality will slam into them once they enter the working world/graduate from college. Some never get past the anger phase and become armchair mgtows that spew awalt. I think getting past the anger phase posts would add real value to the community. There are a few here and there, but more would help. Pussy is only one aspect of being a man.

It's a process that conflicts with our "give it me to me now!" culture in which information and reaction can be gained almost instantly.

I came across the red pill in the summer of 2013. I swallowed the red pill last summer. I started to implement red pill principles into my this past January and the most obvious change was a subconscious reaction from others that manifested in how they reacted to me.

An example of this would be how I use eye gaze and body language as a form of social investment. If I am standing in line at the bank I keep my body language controlled, I stand still unless I'm walking forward. I don't turn around, I don't look around, I always look forward and disregard everything else except what is directly in front of me. If you do this you will notice that people around will begin to subtley "ask" for an investment from you. I refuse to give it and the bank teller noticed and brought a basket of lollipops out from under the desk and offered me one for my "outstanding patience". I smiled and thanked her and told her I'd see her next week.

The internal combustion of the red pill will begin to work itself outward, but have to be patient as the OP said.

The first combustion is the implosion of blue pill think and that does not leave the brain easily.

That attitude on asktrp is typical nowadays. The vast majority of us – at least in western society – seek instant gratification. If we don't see results immediately then we just get bored and fuck off to the next distraction.

I have a friend who is the extreme version of this. For example, if a web page takes longer than a couple of seconds to load, he'll just close it.

Less than 2 months and my life DID make a 180. Don't know what you are talking about OP. It does work like that. Lift (or in my case cut and haul firewood) and apply TRP principles to what you really want in life and things happen. They can happen fast. Went from a guy that never kissed in 26 years to a guy who's had some action and actually turned down a sex offer from a single mom (still enough of a TRP newb I did not want to even risk that) so yeah. I'm setting up for long-term but TRP has given me massive improvements short-term. Not arguing, just telling you how it is. I might have swallowed the red pill harder than most people though, I literally shook, as in had the shakes for several minutes a few times a day, for a few weeks from taking the red pill. It resulted from depression, sadness, anger and all those emotions that come about while processing the whole thing and changing from blue to red.

I was already half red before I even discovered the red pill. Spun plates, only slept with HB7+, wouldn't commit to low quality women, lifted, etc. I've been reading TRP for almost a year now and I still feel like I don't know shit and I'm definitely nowhere near where I want to be.

I can't believe there are people who discover TRP that are total beta manginas that think their lives are going to change immediately. That tells me they haven't absorbed the pill at all.
