Trying to lose weight? Build muscle? Learn a new language? If you are TRP, you have goals. Are you serious about the commitment required to achieve them?

YES: Don't talk about them. Don't tell your buddies, your girl(s), your family and don't write about them on TRP. Recently there have been a few posts referring to the Ferguson Ross "16 Habits You Should do Everyday." If you are formulating goals and developing strategies on how you WILL achieve them, this type of documentation should be your only place to voice your achievements or intended achievements.

It has been scientifically documented that the human brain generates a premature sense of accomplishment after one voices his or her goals to another. You instantly lower the statistical chances of building that muscle as soon as you tell your friend, or god forbid facebook, about your workout routines. If you don't have something of real value to contribute or especially if you are just beginning to take the steps necessary to reach your goals, don't even write about them here.
