Last night I was at a bar chatting up a cute seven. We talk for and hour, venue change to a different bar, we're drinking and getting touchy and having a good time. We start making out. My game so far is on point.

Then, I spill my drink on her.

Four or five months ago I would have reverted to groveling beta, apologized profusely and begged her forgiveness. But frame is everything.

"Oh my god, this is so bad," she says,

"It doesn't look that bad," I respond.

She stares at me angrily, waiting for an apology that I don't intend to give. Finally she says, "Normally when a guy spills his drink on me, I walk away."

"Yeah, but you're going to make an exception this time."

Guess what she never brought up again the rest of the night?

This was a big mistake that could have ruined what was so far a great interaction. Instead I held frame. It was a fuckup and I knew it, but I wasn't about to admit it to her. We passionately made out through out the night and she decided to leave with her friends, but is already messaging me this morning to hang out.

Frame is everything.
