Today I had the displeasure of watching a poised, articulate, well respected man's frame shatter into a thousand pieces. Respect, loyalty and influence...gone in a matter of minutes because he lost his cool, his nerve and his focus. It was like watching a car crash. You know it's horrific, and someone's life may have been ruined or ended outright, but you can't look away.

The gentlemen in question works in the same building as me. No for the same company, my company is an outside contractor whereas his is the building management company that owns the building. Long story short, shit has been dicey the last few months. Loads of political bullshit that I won't go into detail of. But this gentlemen, we'll call him "Dru" was one of the higher ups on the management team. Classic Chad material. Good looking, dressed well, in great shape. Drives an expensive car, always has new arm candy at corporate gatherings...you know the type. Well, at today's meeting with the board, he lost his shit. He allowed the pressure of the fact that building management and security haven't been seeing eye to eye on a few new policies get the better of him.

And when I say lost his shit, I mean he had to be escorted out of the building lost his shit. Banging the desk with his fist, kicking a rolling chair across the room, throwing a stack of documents across the room, telling one of the assistant building managers to "shut his faggot ass up", calling another exec a "libtard cuck"...complete nuclear meltdown. Dude had one foot out of the door for months now, but something apparently hit the right nerve. Mind you, the building manager...the one running the show...is a WELL post-wall broad with an antagonistic demeanor. I've had no personal problems with her. When I sense a shit test coming from her, it's immediately shut down. But Dru? Today his frame got thrown out of the window. Now he's out of a job (though I think he's good financially. Dude drives a 2016 BMW M3 GTR), and has tarnished an otherwise stellar image he had. So suffice to say gents...no matter how flustered or frustrated you get...NEVER BREAK FRAME. The greatest battle you'll ever face is the war within. If you lose that fight, you lose in life.
