Here's the long answer for why most people, even you MRA dudes, hate us. And I will explain it without calling TRP haters any names or saying they have their heads in the sand - I will assume their hate is rational. Long answer, no TLDR, because I actually want to address how RP IS a cancerous mole on the skin of reddit / modern culture.

People hate TRP because we have been taught that certain things must not be discussed, namely sex, female desire, how it works, how social status works, how love actually works, and differences in between gender.

Discussing these topics is simply revolting because it is such a social faux pas, it is so low status and shameful to talk like "hey I can't get laid I need help, I had a bad upbringing, my dad walked out, I have a lot of pain in my life. What the fuck do I do, how do I get women, help, I'm horny!" Imagine that for a second in real life in a college classroom with a friend is like "well, my friend, you need to get attractive to women and women are attracted to confident, in shape, charismatic men who have their lives together. Since you are a fuckup and have no understanding of how to piece those aspects together and actually become, say, confident because you didn't have a good father, I will break them down to you."

This scene would cause revulsion in your stomach because it's so socially upsetting and cringey and wrong. It communicates low value and low value is, for better or worse, DISGUSTING to people. An eyesore - this is human nature and I am not complaining. TRP is an eyesore. It is hard and gross and bitter and nasty to look at. Just because we are at our computers does not mean we do not react as if we were amongst people on a gut / brain level; we still feel the revulsion from a socially inept act. I fully agree the discussing of the topics we discuss is socially inept. It examines failure as much as it examines success. It shows you pain - look on here, you will see a lot of guys in pain.

I used to post a lot of MR and I still see the value in the sight, but you guys have your heads shoved up your butts with regards to the fact that most male problems or "pain" as I said earlier stems from social failure, personal failure, sexual failure, (more sexual failure), and financial failure.

Most male pain stems from not fucking, poverty, social shame, being low status, feeling powerless / depressed, being out of shape, and being undesirable. Jail, public education, courts, and colleges sucking ass creates a lot of male pain, yes. (Good on MRA for engaging with that, I appreciate the work, results or not. Gathering money for Vasalgel for example is huge.)

But we do not actually have power to reverse the trend in our society, feminism has won. End of story - we are NEVER changing back the feminist lean and anti-male bias in these government / popular opinion sanctioned institutions. Prison-industrial complex being a meat factory of poor males (and taxpayer sinkhole) is never going to change in our lifetimes, for example. Colleges are going to get more feminist, public education is going to suck more before it gets better (because we as a nation must experience tremendous pain before we change).

The attitude of "fuck it, the world is a shithole, here is how to make life fun, meaningful, and something you can be proud of in the blink of an eye that you are alive" does make some people hate TRP. It is a form of nihilism that I personally think is a beginner phase of TRP that you grow out of. The attitude that everything sucks shit (most men are approval seeking beta tools, most women are hypergamous, emotional, sluts, for example) is a justified criticism of TRP. I fully admit that is a bad world view and at the same time, I fully see why people hold it.

A broke person will see rich people as evil and money as evil. Teach him how to produce good work that earns him pay, he sees rich people as fellow people who "made it" and money as a fairly sensible invention that spurs innovation and hard work. This is ultimately what TRP can do. Teach a guy how to succeed, he loses his opinion that everything sucks. Teach a man how to get a girlfriend, he stops espousing petty nihilism on the internet.

MRA actually made me more pessimistic and nihilistic - from my time on your page, I would always get into a glum state. Today a mom bashed her toddler's head and receives no punishment! Schools now are denying boys entrace into a CS scholarship! Stats about how shitty everything is for men! Look at how horrible these feminists are, etc. RP helps guys who are in this nihilistic state get it out of their system.

Once again, it is an eyesore. It looks shitty and cringey and gross to see some (probably teenage) person talk about how "society is so X". Just hearing the word "society" come out of someone's mouth is facepalm nowdays, like saying "sheeple" seriously. But look, that is how the guy fucking feels about society, he should be able to share his perspective and reasons for his perspective (and listen to others), because that is how new seeds of thought will be planted. He will grow because we provided him with knowledge that at worst is what I call "beneficially wrong." By this I mean, for example, if lifting doesn't actually correlate with attraction at all, our advice to lift will still yield 99 other benefits and improve his life.

But who can see that end of it? All you see is the shameful bits, the admitting failure, the breaking down of things you were taught at a young age by good family and friends. If you are a normal person in a home and school that nurtured you into a confident dude, OF COURSE you think we are a bunch of introverted neckbeard faggots circlejerking about how shitty everything is.

They do not, however, see the lowered cholesterol levels and healthy blood pressure of my dad when I introduced him to books I found here on health. Just like with Pick Up / Mystery type stuff, they see the fucktards on TV in that reality show, they do not see me 9 years ago in college getting the balls to join a frat, make friends, and answer questions in class. They only see the gross shit people do to one day get to that point. They see the lows. Ask any married dude on TRP - how much HAPPIER has their wife been since they found this. But of course, no one will ever see that. They will see, however, me telling that guy (or someone telling me) that they need to quit being a pussy, lift, not supplicate, law down some rules, fuck her better, and let her be emotional without 'logic' attacking her all the time.

They see the misogyny, but they don't see a dude working through his misogyny to develop an actual love of women. I can honestly say that I love women and that is something that I never could have said without realizing RP ideas or getting the experiences that PU and later RP thinking allowed me to get. You must objectively UNDERSTAND women to say you love them; a man with illusions about something can never love that thing. If you do not truly understand how women are different than men, you do not love them. There is no price too high to achieve an objective understanding of yourself and the species you one day want to raise a family with. This is the idea of RP that is so revolting - NO PRICE IS TOO HIGH FOR REALITY. Shame, looking like a retard, being misogynistic by societal standards, etc, it is a small price to pay in the pursuit of objective, uncensored ideas. Most people cannot pay that price; if something will earn them success but make them look like a degenerate moron, they will not do it, end of story. They see us being willing to look like idiots in the pursuit of success, so naturally rather than confront their own avoidance of tough choices, they sit back upon whatever accomplishments they do have and talk shit about how pathetic it is that some people have to do MORE to get to their level.

Because ultimately, that's all TRP hate is. Successful people who hate on TRP are generally just dudes who lucked into a great environment to grow and thrive in, so they naturally think other dudes who didn't become a success must be serious jackass losers. Unsuccessful people who hate on TRP (most of them, since I have met very, very few successful people who engage in online hate) are dudes who hate on guys who actually try to fix their problems instead of escaping from them. People who SHARE problems (most men share similar problems) often display massive hatred towards guys who decide "holy shit, we're all a bunch of losers, fuck this, I want out, I will literally do anything to not be like how we are."

Hopefully that sums it up. I have no problem with TRP receiving hate. I want TRP to be discussing things society will not discuss because otherwise, we are worthless and discussion here has no merit. We are not being objective if we are approved of. The day people on askreddit espouse our merits in great numbers, I'll stop posting here.

A big chunk of the posters and readership (probably a majority) are new to everything here and still in the anger stage. It's a safe space where they can vent, bounce ideas off of more experienced guys, rant about their life, and otherwise emote freely. Then, while they're still in that stage, they learn to channel their frustration productively in a romantic context, which is when they treat it as conquest to brag about rather than personal enjoyment. Women and white knights see them doing that in a supportive environment and immediately conclude it's all evil woman-hate from a bunch of nasty woman-hating woman-haters.

I see the average TRP poster as being in one of several stages. The first stage, like the stages of grief, is anger. The guy who remembers all the women he was orbiting, when he got shot down despite months of emotional investment, only to see the girl turn around and bang half a hockey team - he sees why that worked now and feels angry. In truth, he was betrayed by a system that socializes him to believe he could build what Rational Male calls relationship equity - that by investing effort, he earns effort in return. But he doesn't see that yet, he sees that he didn't get what he deserved, and it hurts, and he lashes out at the woman involved. Older hands know she's just doing what chicks do, and that there's no such thing as "deserve," the guy gave his time and emotional energy freely and should be more careful how he does so in the future. But outsiders see that and can't get past the surface expression of anger and frustration to see the suffering human being beneath. Check the subreddit's front page; a big chunk of it is just guys ranting about women who made them angry. Those are guys who need a sympathetic ear and some words of wisdom, not monsters in training.

Next stage are the guys who have a handle on the theory but haven't really come to peace with it. They have basic Game, they're getting their life in order, but the whole process is still adversarial to them. Some enjoy their new mindset because it gives them the power to be the asshole who always got the girl in the past, or they just passively enjoy seeing the world through a new lens where it finally makes sense. These are the guys who post stories of women behaving badly - the sub doesn't gain a lot from yet another example of that, but it's a cathartic process for the OP and for a lot of the readership. Still some very justifiable anger there; again, feminist and white knights see this, and fail to see the human being behind it. It's not a socially acceptable problem for a man to speak about and seek help for.

Later on, guys eventually accept everything, let the frustration go, and live a better life. Some do it quicker than others (I admit, it took me a few years of manosphere exposure to get over it). A lot of them then leave the manosphere and the sub completely and enjoy the fruits of their new knowledge, maybe returning once in a blue moon to post thanks or some thoughts they had. Women are women, and it's pointless to hate them for that; work with what reality offers and try to be content. Very zen. But there's rarely more than one post from this kind of guy on the front page. Not much one can add to "TRP helped me get my life fixed" in a comment thread.

It's the difference between, "Women are more manipulative than men - that's not fair, and it's wrong!" on one hand, and "Women are generally more adept at manipulation than men, and complaining about that is as foolish as complaining that men are generally stronger than women" on the other. Or, "My wife doesn't put out every night, I thought this could never happen!" versus "My wife is losing interest, and mainstream advice is less effective than selective application of Game; my marriage is more important to me than whether or not my thoughts and actions have the approval of anonymous feminists."

Not to say there aren't some evil women out there. Of course there are. It's practically a truism that backstabbing girlfriends and ex-wives drive men here as much as any other source. Again, outsiders see the anger and fail to see the suffering person behind it. How many of our 57,000 subscribers would never have come here if just one feminist had said, "I see your pain, and I want you to know that you're still a good person. Let me listen to you and help you. No one should be alone and clueless. And while no particular woman ever owes you sex, your need for companionship in a generalized sense is valid."

What they hear instead is, "You're evil and entitled for wanting sex! But women are good for wanting sex with whoever and whatever they want! Now, keep your trap shut and masturbate quietly until you're 30, when you marry the girl who didn't even notice you while she was busy banging all those guys who did the opposite of what we said! She is entitled to your money! Also, you're a rapist just for having a penis." It is socially unacceptable for a man to express dissatisfaction with his lot as an unattractive beta provider, and to seek to exceed his station.. The feminists could win tomorrow if they changed that.

Yeah, you get the occasional post, "All women are evil, I finally figured it out!" You get responses like, "Of course man, never trust a woman!" That's part of the healing process. It gets ugly. Not as ugly as, say, radical feminist sites suggesting forcible castration of all men. But there are always the voices of wisdom in the comments: "Women are just following their nature, same as you are; you don't deserve anything; fix your own life before anything else; stop basing your happiness on the approval of others; stop putting all your faith in one person without properly vetting them; don't believe everything you hear from the TV; be prepared for shit tests; lift heavy-ass weights; be prepared for the occasional crazy chick at work, and recognize the pussy pass when you see it; don't be fooled into marriage unless it's right for you; learn proper social skills, by hard experience if necessary; above all, question everything, even what TRP says."

tl;dr Yes there is a ton of anger here, a normal if ugly part of the healing process, but feminists would rather feed their victim complex than help a suffering male.

Honestly I think the main reason feminists hate this place so much is because they are used to being able to infiltrate male spaces and manipulate people through shaming and semantic shift or at the very least derail conversations and waste people's time with demands for evidence and explanations, but here they can't. We delete their comments and laugh at them. So you have a rapidly growing group of men telling uncomfortable and inconvenient truths about women and blocking any attempt by feminists to interfere. They hate us because they are powerless to control us in any way.

I frequent men's rights and notice that you guys allow feminists to post and engage them in serious conversation. The rationale I hear is that you're doing it to convince silent onlookers but you should understand that feminists are arguing with you for the same exact reason. You'd do better to exclude them from the conversation entirely because by not doing so you are allowing them to exert a very real influence in and on your sub. They don't hate you because you give them exactly what they want.

Today I got lambasted in a popular sub for posting a link to a study that shows how homeschoolers outperform public schoolers on all testing criteria. You wouldn't think that would offend anyone that bad, but considering the in-group is shown to be inferior or you could say "wrong", people get massively upset and spew hate.

If you spend time in sub's, reading books, watching media, etc that are super controversial with a large hate contingent, you are probably doing something right.

If everything you do and consume is super popular and liked by everyone, that is a sure-fire way to tell that your mind is shit.

In context you'll find that it is set up not only as an entrance barrier, but the harsh nature of it is exactly what some guys need to counter their view of women and relationships that they previously had.

As for why it is considered the worst sub, more so than pics of dead children and openly racist groups on reddit, I honestly don't know. Even looking at most of the material here from a newcomers standpoint, I remember I was taken aback and disliked it but I never though of it again or hated it with vitriol.

The truth is offensive to a lot of people. It's a commonly accepted fact in today's world that we evolved from apes, and yet saying this 100 years ago would have angered a lot of people. People consider themselves better than apes, but at the end of the day, we're just another animal. 100 years ago though, you couldn't say that because there was a preconceived notion that humans were somehow special and distinct from other animals, and to implicate that this wasn't the case was to go against the word of God and religion.

In a similar fashion, it's orthodox nowadays to say that the sexes are exactly the same, or that women are somehow better than men. Like a lot of guys on here, I grew up believing this, and the world never made sense to me. It wasn't until I figured out that the sexes have different mating strategies that things started to fall into place. TRP shines a pretty bright light on what it is that females are capable of, and women as a group don't take kindly to having their dirty laundry aired out for all to see, because it sounds a lot like we're saying that women are inferior to men, and because a lot of women have done the things that we're revealing. It's hard to put yourself above someone else when you yourself are just as bad.

Of course, there's a difference between stating the nature of something, and using that data to draw a value judgement or infer a conclusion, but this is a subtlety that is lost on most of our critics. The typical reactionaries are quick to jump to conclusions that we don't make, and are even quicker to view women as victims in this whole scenario, which is kind of hilarious given that TRP views women as having more agency and ability than any feminist theory out there.

Another factor is that there's also an undercurrent of anger on this subreddit, because a lot of us have been lied to our whole lives. Shit, I'm still angry and in denial, because I genuinely do want to settle down with a good woman and have kids. The current social and legal framework just isn't set up for that though, and a lot of guys like me are starting to see the matrix for what it is. The only sane answer in this situation is to do a shot of whisky, and play the game by the actual rules, rather than bullshit ones people tell you. Do it right, and you can have a harem of willing girls, bang married women, and fuck even the most chaste, virginal girls. A lot of guys learn that if they treat women like dirt, they get results, and so the system perpetuates itself.

Finally, the most enraging thing to a lot of the people who criticize TRP is that this shit works. Seddit used to get a lot of flak in its early days, but no one can argue with its results. Similarly, TRP is about restoring masculinity to men, and this is a complex issue with roots in science, evolutionary theory, and most of all, politics. There are many, many people out there who have a vested interest in fighting the things we say, because it undermines their most fundamental beliefs. These people won't give up without a fight, because to them, we're dangerous ideologues who undermine their absolute truth. They have an army of white knights wearing pink shirts with slogans on them like "hey girl, let's smash patriarchy", but ours is the side that gets more pussy. At the end of the day, we'll win, because what we're saying is true, and people can only deny it for so long.

I've noticed this before too, and not just with TRP.

There are plenty of niche "idea" communities out there. But some of them seem to inflame people for absolutely no reason. I've noticed it with bitcoin before - nobady cared about it forever and then all of a sudden people that had nothing to do with it just started getting MAD at bitcoin for existing. I was actually at a bar one time and this guy who barely knew what it was started going on a tirade making fun of it. Nobody had even mentioned it, he just started up out of nowhere. And after a short discussion all he knew about it was that "people" call it a ponzi scheme and that he was convinced it was bullshit.

That's the same reaction I see people have about TRP - they just start bashing it out of nowhere.

I've noticed it with other stuff too - I can't think of any examples but it's often things that I'll look into, decide that the idea is solid and maybe even pretty smart once you understand it, and then I'll start to notice people bashing it unprovoked.

It's easy to say "people don't like the truth" or "this challenges the status quo" but I think those don't really answer the question. I wish I knew how to drill down and figure this phenomenon out because it's a genuine source of frustration for me and makes me feel fundamentally disconnected from society. The matrix analogy is suitable I guess, but there's no choice to take a blue pill - if you understand things you understand them and you will never be able to feel ok playing along with things that you know don't make sense.

I can't remember who said it first, but i think first and foremost reason is not the content that bothers the outsider, it's the LANGUAGE that we use.

It's raw and unfiltered. If you say something bullshit, people will call you out, and tell you why do they think you are wrong. This is unique. Most people can't deal with honesty, because EVERYONE is lying to us, to gain advantage, to "protect us", to act as a nice/polite person, etc.

It's virtually because the new posters in the 'anger' phase are the most visible and common.

I think it largely gets a free pass from other TRP posters because it's normal to respond in that way when you've recently taken the pill. That awful feeling that comes crashing down when you realize you have been duped. I do wish it was a little less visible though. I honestly feel like many of you guys supplant misogyny for confidence. It is an easy trick, as it is hard to care about the opinions of someone you don't respect. When you actively don't respect your targets, respecting yourself, and your outcomes, is easier. The crowd here seems to be pretty diverse. However, so many subscribers seem to be in the anger/denial stage and they are VERY vocal about their individual problems. There are far better ways to recognize obvious male/female differences than simply referring to the other gender as sluts and children. Like ms. Coulter this subreddit frames it's concepts/arguments with incendiary language. Sure it's more entertaing to read, but present it to someone who doesn't know what this sub is trying to be about. They just see things like AWALT, plates, cock carousel, and more often than not they are just going to assume it's what the rest of reddit said it is "butthurt neckbeards trying to figure out how to game women".

I totally get that posters that are still a bit purple are just mad at thier upbringing and still projecting it onto women and just need some more guidance, but from a PR stance it doesn't do us any favors.

I think it is more than just people being afraid of the truth. People have been conditioned to be social justice warriors. That is what schools teach these days. If you make the statement "inequality is bad", most people will agree with you, simply because it has been drilled into kids since grade school. The side effect is that it creates a cognitive bias against those who do well and irrational support for those who do not do well (ex: stuff like fat acceptance).

For example, just because bankers or businessmen are doing well in life, people like to take shots at them. It used to be that if someone wasn't born into a wealthy family, he couldn't go to college and he would just be a middle class worker at a manufacturing plant, and he would be okay with his position in life. But now people believe that anybody who does well in life is owes the rest of society. That's why people feel right in invading the privacy of celebrities and other famous/rich people. Think back to the days when nobody knew that FDR was in a wheelchair and couldn't walk. Even the foreign press had the courtesy not to show pictures of him in a wheelchair. Today, people hide behind dark corners with cameras and recorders hoping to catch someone famous saying or doing something that is not perfect, so they can chop him/her down.

You guys always complain about being such Nice Guys in your past and being passed over by all the girls so you went full asshole instead. It's called an abusive relationship - they start out charming, slowly start becoming more controlling and isolating the other person and then go into abusive mode (and by that time, the girl is invested and isolated so she doesn't feel like she can leave).

But here's a tip - like attracts like. If you are an asshole, you will attract other assholes. If you are a clingy loser, you will attract clingy losers. If you are a decent human being (hint: if you're into trp, you're not), you'll attract decent human beings. Keep that in mind next time you read your cult's field reports - the girls these guys end up with act like assholes because the guys are assholes.

I'm hoping you'll get out of the angsty teenager phase and grow up and then you'll see how stupid and self defeating trp is. Be confident, without being an ass. I'm pro men's rights! My brother is I'm prison currently because his lady friend cried rape to avoid jail. my other brother was cheated on by his wife and she and her new man have done nothing but try to use the legal system against him. and my husband was accused of rape last year by a complete stranger. TRP is known for mass downvoting descenting opinion, and instead of taking part in conversation and discourse TRPer's attack and insinuate.

Anecdotal example, I posted about having an open relationship on here a few weeks ago saying that i would answer any questions you guys had, but instead of asking questions all i got were people accusing my wife being dishonest, that i was destined for a divorce, that i must have no self esteem.

On top of this there is extreme use of generalizations here that make it hard to see the forest for the tree's. feminists especially get generalized a lot here, where as if it was more clear that you people did respect some feminists, just not ones with extreme views, then it would be harder to hate on you. TRP often comes across as hating on feminists just because they are feminists and not because of their individual ideologies.

It's not hated it's just full of guys blowing it out their ass behind a keyboard. Good mentality here, but at the end of the day you have to practice what you preach in the real world. What you learn here is pretty much women are sloots, have some self respect, get money, and bang some chicks with big nice tits and ass. Unfortunately some of these alphas here are not what they seem to be so take what you hear from the internet with a grain of salt unless they have legit proof that they're what they are talking about.
