TRP, in essence defies the myth of egalitarianism and equalism. Dethroning those two flawed ideologies places TRP philosophy outside the hemisphere of leftist influence. TRP is way more compatible with 'traditionalism' than this new age myth of 'gender and social constructs' which are blatant lies.

It isn't about left or right per say, but TRP itself is a very libertarian mindset on a personal level. So it aligns with wanting libertarian policies on a societal level. Feminism and socialism are tied together, and liberalism is the closest mainstream view places like the US have to socialism, so that is why they get tied together as the enemy.

While I agree that no one ought to be alienated from this sub for their political affiliations, you have to acknowledge that most of the sorts of people we groan about here do come from the left.

The ring-wing is a breeding ground for homophobia and other forms of religious hysteria. That's their problem.

Likewise, the left-wing is predominantly responsible for most of the PC-whitewashing and "men suck, women are awesome" gender warfare you see propagating throughout the western world.

If you're a socialist and you enjoy reading this sub, by all means, browse away. You're one of us. We may not all agree with you politically, but where gender issues and sexual strategy are concerned, we're all on the same page.

But you have to at least acknowledge when your own side is responsible for a widespread problem in society.

For example, I consider myself a strong libertarian, and I openly acknowledge that my own side is responsible for much of the nutball tinfoil hat clad conspiracy theorizing you see on the internet. The ones who only buy in bitcoin, believe everyone in the government is aliens, go on about the Illuminati and the Jews who rule the world, etc. Those guys are not helping anyone, they suck, and they're making us libertarians look bad. I'm sorry for them, and I assure you that I call them out whenever they start going off on their retarded little tirades.

If we can ALL help to police our respective nutballs within our own political affiliations, we can all help to make the political climate a better place.

So, just take that as a note. When I or someone like me groans, "ugh, these fucking leftoids are at it again," just know that it's nothing against you or your political beliefs. It's just that your own kind are causing problems again, and we're calling them on it.

I consider myself a liberal. I believe that the only thing society owes you is an equal opportunity to succeed, and only one.

Excellent public schools, but not much else is all the government should do. Some welfare for people with PTSD and for those with disabilities, but come on, why give welfare to people who fucked up?

My parents immigrated as adults with no money or knowledge of English. They now owe a $800,000 home in a upper class neighbourhood.

Well the left definitely pushes many of the of the driving forces behind The Red Pill. Such as the destruction of marriage and as we all know Feminism. They deny evolution in their elevation of females so I don't think a conservative denying evolution is any different. I myself won't stand for anyone condoning modern liberalism and pretending it isn't what brought us here. It is not necessarily about the left or right, but the left needs to be seen for what it is. The Left is the Antithesis of TheRedPill, while the Right is at least holds family values and encourages chicks not to ride the cock carousel.

Not many conservatives believe in creationism. Hell, the Catholic Church said years ago creation and evolution are not incompatible.

If your views of what conservative means comes from the media, feminists, leftist, etc, you may not actually know what most conservatives believe.

And no I don't believe RP is libertarian. Libertarians support things like open borders and no trade restrictions, which is cultural and economic suicide.

Interesting point. A lot of TRP involves personal responsibility for one's actions, and our current liberal agenda in the US seems to prefer propping up individuals as opposed to allowing them to fend for themselves. Because RP prefers to let people pay for, and get rewarded for, their own personal actions, I suppose conservative thought is more common here.

Conservatism is just a rear-guard action to mop up the discontents of the current political regime. They never question the system, and never ever undo the evil shit done in the name of progressivism (immigration, abortion, affirmative action, etc.). In the same vein, you never see liberals actually undoing economic liberalism by eliminating corporate personhood, restoring tax barriers, or actually enforcing consumer/workers protection laws.

It's a con. It's more social liberalism, then more economic liberalism, then more social liberalism, rince, repeat, ad nauseam. Take another red pill.

I say that I don't think the political hamstering of the right (or the left) belongs in this forum.

When conservatives bring up negative terms about liberals here, all I hear from right-wingers hear is the same kind of hamstering I hear from women, feminists, and liberal politics as well. They think they're a special little snowflake. They claim they're "thinking for themselves" while blindly repeating the same talking points everyone else who listens to the same show they do does. Just like feminists try to label "men" as "the worst man" so do these conservatives try to label "liberals" as "the most obnoxious liberal". Just like feminists create strawmen, so do conservatives try to create liberal strawmen (of course the liberal side does this just as much as well).

I don't think any of the political-hamstering belongs in this forum.

(Note: I'm saying saying "conservatives" do the above things, I'm saying the people who start talking about that crap in this forum are doing it. And of course, liberals are no better, but mostly I see conservatives here trying to be trendy and cool by repeating talking points, repeating shaming language, etc.)

All the most beta guys I know who have trouble with girls come from a religious conservative background. Did you see that ad a conservative church put out where the girl invites the guy in because her parents aren't home, the guy turns her down, and it depicts the girl respecting and loving the guy more for it? Left or right is way too binary. It is impossible to represent a complex idea with just one bit of data, which is what classifying someone as left or right is attempting to do.

There are a lot of wing nuts that just embrace the extreme left or the extreme right because they are not capable of individual thought. Given all the controversial ideas out there from gun control, gay rights, abortion, etc, it would be extremely improbable that one would completely agree with a single side on all of them. It's like flipping a jar full of coins and all of them land heads.

There are a lot of extremist on Reddit, probably because the demographic is young where people are easily impressionable and they lack enough life experience to form their own ideas. Also, the extremist tends to be the loudest, so they make far more posts than the average user. But either way, they are extremely annoying, which is why people make up names like "libtards".

Actually, class conflict and materialism support RedPill a lot. Everything in life is mostly about getting control over resources and supporting what benefits you. Neoliberalism is economy bluepill. 1) This is concern trolling. We're alienating way more than half the population with the material on TRP, politics or no politics.

TRP is all about self improvement and being the best man you can be so it is diametrically opposed to hard liberalism and the victim mentality pervasive in feminism and elsewhere. Well, yes, of course there is evolutionary theory behind TRP stuff. And when you want to get to the bottom of TRP and why stuff works, you will get to evolution in the end.

This is why I'd say the majority takes only TRP as true and is liberal overall.

But because TRP is more of an idea than a cult or religion or anything like that, you can have a Red Pill-mindset with everything. TRP is generally applicable. It is bound to nothing but yourself and your beliefs. You can be anywhere on the planet, with whatever religion or politic view. But you can always be RP.

So what you will see here is no represantation of what TRP is politically. It isn't even political. The people on this subreddit have a political view, filtered and cleared through TRP.

Liberal ideology is more than feminism in the way that conservative ideology is more than creationism and homophobia. That those groups have found root in one side doesn't speak to the whole of the ideological party (such is the problem with having a binary system with ideas that work on a spectrum)

I'm a liberal, but I loathe what feminism stands for and their attempt at a marxist state. The same way that most Conservatives would be loathe to have the Tea Party running the show.
