Tldr; Suits are lingerie for men. In an effort to marginalize male presence and position, men no longer dress up for work, thus lower SMV and advancement opportunities.

Body; I live in San Francisco, which is the hub of poorly dressed men in the entire fucking country.

Yes the 90s did its damage with the khakis and button down shirt look, but men used to wear suits.

The reason men stopped wearing suits?? Women.

It's pretty simple.

Most offices, as some RPillers have adressed, are corporate harems. The alphas can wear suits, but anyone below is dismissed or sneered at.

I have worn suits to countless job interviews and stood out in a bad way being the only one dressed in one. But after going to an interview intentionally dressed down, I said fuck it, wore a suit + tie and got my dream job.

However I feel more confident in a suit, that is not the case for all men. But it should be.

Lesson Learned;

Wear khakis and sneakers all you want, but be aware it makes you look like a fucking goober. Make an effort to dress well once in a while.
