The biggest thing that I have gotten from this subreddit is the massive amount of increase to my self respect. Fuck getting laid now. Not my mission anymore. It happens a shit ton more as a side effect of that mind set anyways, and the sex is way better and doesn't feel like begging.

I got laid before TRP too. That doesn't mean TRP isn't relevant to my life. Even since I started absorbing and applying these concepts, my happiness level has increased dramatically, and I have much more control over my own life (I always had control, I just wasn't aware of it).

Well if I look at my boyfriend who's very alpha without realizing it (he's probably not alone) plus the fact that many people have a distorted view of TRP... I can see how a guy would think he's not following TRP while getting laid, but in fact, he's doing a lot of thing proposed here.

In his group of friend, they're ALL preach equality, they ALL support feminism (well, not everything they do off course, but most of it), but we can clearly see an hierarchy among them and the effect that have on women in the group. And in some situations, the seems to ''forget'' their so called feminism values.

Getting laid is a bad metric to measure TRP mindset against.

It affects most facets of your life. I'd say one of the more directly translatable markers of TRP success is how many plates you can spin long term. That requires a good usage of TRP knowledge on many levels IMO.

The title of this post is really one of the primary reasons TRP gets such hate, especially from other men. It's not "normal" behavior.

A normal guy grows up, spending his entire life being nice to girls, trying to be their friend hoping she'll eventually notice him and want more, refraining from initiating because he fears rejection and doesn't want to offend a girl by doing something without her permission and/or unless he's sure she has feelings for him, only has sex if he thinks it's true love, and generally putzes around -- but in his eyes, he doesn't fail. The large majority of these normal guys don't fail at life and never get any girl -- they eventually land a few girlfriends, get laid a few times, find someone to marry them, and think that they've done great. They found a "special" woman that they idolize who was willing to marry them and even fucks them once a month, and think that they've done great, therefore all of this Red Pill junk is bullshit.

But TRP isn't about getting more girls or even about getting better quality girls. TRP isn't about girls at all. TRP is about you, and the school of thought is very, very straightforward. Get fit, get smart, get successful, get social, get interesting. Be awesome, don't give a shit about girls, and this will naturally make you attractive to them. And when you're attractive to some girls, others will take notice. When you become a man instead of the feminized boy society has taught you to be, life just falls into place, girls included. And that's really the best description of it. It just falls into place. You walk out your door with a half-smile on your face because you're happy, you just finished a killer workout and you're that good kind of sore, you're awesome at a job you love and have achieved greatness at, you can't wait until the end of the day when you'll work at one of your favorite hobbies or sit down with a good book about something new you're interested in, then you look up from this confident place you're walking in and realize that the girl twenty feet ahead of you is checking you out. She'd never have given you the time of day a year ago, but today, she's looking, so you walk right up to her to see if she's worth knowing...or maybe you don't if you don't think she's that pretty. Doesn't matter. It's just a girl, and you have shit to do.

The reason the quality of girls has risen for you OP is that the red pill destroys any hint of a pedestal, so talking to a 9 is no different than a 6.

I got laid by great looking women before I knew TRP, but the biggest difference for me now is I know what I'm doing more clearly since before I was just basically throwing shit on the wall. The quantity has risen also and just how I go about the whole process. Being Red Pill is more fun. Relationships are more fun as I don't care about trying to please everybody. I have more control over myself and both parties are happier because of it as there's no bullshit. Im straight up, to the point, and honest about everything.

Sex is better as I'm more dominating than I used to be, and they love it. Talking to women is not anything to think too much about either. I dont even care what I say anymore because my frame is everything.

I don't take any shit and do what I want, and people respect me more for it. It's strange how not seeking a persons approval and generally not needing them at all makes them like you more, especially women. Social dynamics are a funny thing.

Every single guy I know who gets laid a lot has some red pill in them to various degrees. You can't be a ladies man if you're a little bitch. You don't need to believe everything that's posted here to be red pill. It's the overall attitude that does the job. The theory aspect of this sub is just information to help solidify that attitude for some.

General self improvement is great but red pill self improvement is another animal.

I wouldn't waste much time on contemplating what haters of trp have to say. They'll say or do anything to rationalize their pre-existing world view. It's called confirmation bias. Like you suggested, if a guy is getting laid he's using TRP mentality or he's nailing low-value women.

Yeah, I got laid quite a bit. However, I didn't understand why I did or why it would eventually devolve into an unpleasant relationship. I used to think that I knew how to make a woman fall in love with me but kept making bad choices in women. The truth is that I was a nice guy who was smart and successful but still had a bit of a crazy streak. I attracted women because I was different than most men. I attracted crazy women without even trying.

What TRP taught me was that I wasn't crazy. That being anything other than 100% who you are when you're with a woman is going to be to your disadvantage. That my wants, needs & desires are my responsibility. It's up to me to get them met. It helped me realize that all the things that I wanted when I was a little boy is who I am and is not bad or anything to be ashamed of.

It's given me hope & a direction to go in. It's stopped me from feeling regret & sorrow. I'm not quite there yet but I'm starting to feel like that little boy that has so many options in front of him and they are all exciting. Life is a roller coaster not a merry-go-round. Take joy in it, don't be afraid of it.

Funny story from a recovering Beta. I landed my wife at 21. I met her at her prime 19. She is at least 9 by far. She had many man-friends surrounding her at all times.

I stepped up my game and went alpha on her without even knowing it. For example, I recall getting chewed out by my beta brother for snapping my fingers at her to get her attention on the second day meeting her.

So I change my frame, go home after work, slam her on all her shit-games (she was on rapid fire!) with some A&A. She accuses me of being really sarcastic but in a great mood. By the end of the night, she is having "fireworks" after I alpha dominated her in bed.

yea. for a lot of guys who never get laid, the first phase of RP bursts open the floodgates. you discover that you can run amok through the 4-6 range if you are remotely attractive.

that is a validating experience after being spurned for so long. however, that loses its luster quickly and you begin to pursue hotter girls and improve yourself.

soon, "getting laid" is easy and inconsequential when you can, like an unattractive girl, go to most bars and pull something at will if you are willing to lower standards a couple pegs.

i saw a guy on some thread yesterday talking about how he gets laid like bricks and goes to parties where everyone walks around naked. ive been to those parties. the girls there are easy and medium on the attractive scale. fatties with big tits and a cute face. a thin girl, nice bod, but underwhelming facial aesthetics, girls covered in tattoos and piercings. these are the urban hippy wannabes, hipster druggies, and liberated riotgrrlz.

the funny thing is that this guy probably exhibits more redpill frame than he realizes. he is clearly confident, and probably a bit dominant. he likely fits their in-group aesthetic, likely covered in tats and hipster gear, as well as in a band (social proof).

I've had some serious problems getting girls even remotely interested in me. Since TRP, things have changed. I was out with a girl the other night, and she was actually surprised (pleasantly) to hear from me again as she thought she wasn't good enough for me. The different mentality that TRP has given me is really starting to work. I'm no longer that desperate loser, begging for anything. Now I can be discerning, I have agency over my own life. I am no longer at the whim of women.

Getting laid is a dumb metric. I was blessed with good genetics, I'm naturally attractive. Getting laid was never really that hard. Maintaining relationships was. In my BP days girls would quickly become bored or disgusted by my patheticness. Couldn't keep a relationship going longer than a few months after the initial excitement.

That's all changed. If you could see the power dynamic change in my relationship you'd see that it was night and day. And I'm dating a hotter girl now.

Girls aren't attracted to weak supplicating men. They're repulsed enough that they'll even overlook your physical attractiveness.

That's assuming you were actually getting decent or existing success with women pre-TRP. Some of us had absolutely nothing and it was climbing up that ladder of experiences that was the most amazing.

Going from blushing whenever I girl would look at you, to being able to hold eye contact, to being able to have a nice conversation, to finally getting invited to parties, nightclubs, to finally getting to touch a woman sexually, to makeouts and so on. This is what I loved the most. The Journey and accomplishing those little things you never imagined you'd be capable of doing.

Shit, I remember how fucking excited I was the first time a woman complimented me, years ago. I actually felt like a human being with some value.
