I've written before about the effect of reference experience on determining a man's position in the dominance hierarchy, and thus his attractiveness with women. Today I happened upon this article by Heartiste, which describes research on the "winner effect", which suggests that individual victories can have long term effects on a man's perception of his own status.

I remember reading research in the past that linked high perception of one's own social status (and all the subconscious body language/vocal tonality cues that go along with it) with high testosterone. I think it's likely that the high testosterone equals high status/attractiveness to women postulate is overly simplistic, but I wonder if a temporary exogenous boost in testosterone would effect better results in game.

Basically my theory is this: If you take a hit of testosterone before you go out sarging, your game will get an artificial boost for the night (or longer? I don't know how long the stuff stays in your system). You'll get easy wins when you take it. These wins will accumulate via the "winner effect" to your perception of your own status. Once your higher status is cemented, you can remove the crutch (the exogenous testosterone), and your inner game can stand on its own. And the fact that you will have been taking testosterone occasionally and intermittently mostly negates the adverse effects normally associated with replacing your body's natural testosterone-creating ability.

Of course this is only a theory, it relies on quite a few assumptions, and I have personally had zero experience with steroids or TRT. So I wanted to ask you guys: have any of you had experience with steroids or TRT, and how has it affected your game?
