Gentlemen:

I'm 35 and have had thoughts about having kids. I know what kind of father I would be. I just do not feel comfortable trusting any woman. You simply can't. I can't see a logical reason to have children, just to have the government or state legally tell me what my "rights" are as a parent. The cost out of pocket is insane. I don't believe in love between romantic partners.

That being said, I plan to get a vasectomy. I think I will miss some of the great things about raising a child, but its different than wanting a woman's love. I've adjusted to how women really are.

Has anyone else struggled with this? Anyone willing to discuss something like this? I'm curious if you do or don't have kids, and whether you regret your choices.

Thanks.
