Me thinks she was dating a white guy and got pressure from her family to leave him and find an Indian man to marry. So now she has these unrealistic standards for the Indian guys so it won’t look like she downgraded. Unfortunately for her, high value Indians aren’t going to mess with boomerangs (Indian/asian women that exclusively date white but settle for a brown/asian guy when they hit 30 usually due to family pressure and/or because the white guy won’t marry them).

At 31 in South Asia, is practically leftover territory. People in that culture still marry for family and no man in that age range that is single is looking wife up a 31 year old. I remember writing that as a reply to this post and some bimbo asking me why that was. They keep looking at this from the lens of the US when in reality the culture itself is very different and in that culture you marry the family more than you marry the individual. No family is going to advocate for a 31 year old.

As I have noted on PPD, women really do want things to be as sausage fest-y as possible, to feed into their hypergamy and Chad-chasing impulses. Women become super picky in sausage fests. This is an uncomfortable truth.
