Wife took care of the bills for past 8 years - didn't do anything wrong per-se.

We had no budget, bills were paid on time

Credit card debt never added interest (balance transfer hopped)

I took over the finances, created a budget (used YNAB), started actively paying our debts - now every time she thinks I may have forgotten a bill (I forgot just once - and it was still paid on its due date) - she's on my case.

She enjoyed doing it, but we weren't tracking the expenses, where we were overspending, etc. Like I'd like her too. Now she's pissed because I took it away.

Personally I don't care who pays the bills, as long as they are paid and tracked (she doesn't want to use YNAB, but a loose-leaf binder which doesn't track shit).

I told her I don't care who pays the bills, so long as we can compromise and she'll put it into YNAB as well as her system.

She's getting on my last nerve with this shit and nothing I say to her will get her off my case and she won't seem to compromise and use both systems - so I keep doing the bills and ages still upset about it. Any help guys?
