I've been a consistent weight lifter for about 5 years. I've gone from 6'5" 180lbs and 3 sets of 10, no leg day to 6'5" 217lbs skinny fat 3x5 and never miss leg day. I've done weight for strict form and yolo fuck it weights.

I'm now 30. Looking at my lifting notes the weight I lift now is considerably higher than what it was 5 years ago. My current weight of 200 is 20lbs heavier but that only equates to 4lbs of gain a year. Not very good.

I've read books on high reps vs low reps. super sets vs not. dirty bulk vs clean bulk. 1 minute rest time vs 2-3 minute rest time. Form vs yolo. High carb, high pro, low fat or high fat, high pro, low carb, or you only need 1 g of pro per lbs of body weight but to get 3200 calories at 200 lbs that becomes a lot of fat and carb calories if you stick to 1 g per lbs of protein.

At this point my head is so fucked. I am in the gym 4x a week, use free weights 90% of the time and eat cleaner than I ever have. I don't believe weights need to be complicated, 3 sets 5,4,3,2,1 then 1 handed jump rope for 30 seconds followed by sled tosses with a rope twist. I want to go to the gym do work and gain size. Any advice on unfucking especially from taller guys would be appreciated.
