Had a nice afternoon planned. We own our own business a finished up work early. Kids were at school still. I decided to take the wife to a nice lunch at one of our favorite places. We had a few drinks and a good time. Been on the journey for 2 years. M34 F30. Lifting and reading. Held frame the last 6 months at least on every occasion. Sex still has not increased drastically. Once a week steady. Pretty vanilla. Once again, held for 6 months...no whining, begging, pouting or bitching. The topic gets brought up at lunch...she baits me in. I start to fall into the trap like Wiley Coyote. We start talking. I bitch a little wha wha "I wish you were kinkier" blah blah. 30 seconds max. Then pull back. IDGAF. Hold frame. Let her rant. I laugh. Make jokes. Gets silent. Awkward. Nothing got resolved. We sit there for what felt like 3 days until our bill comes. Pay. Out to the car. We start driving. Still awkward silence. Been growing a beard for 2 months. I like it. She doesn't really but never said much. Said she like it the other day though (not that it mattered.) She looks over at me. Starring. Me "What?" Her "Nothing...just thinking" Me Crickets Her "Just wondering why you are growing that thing....I don't like it" Me "I like it. Where did that come from? Hell of a diversion from the last convo." Her "Was just thinking I'd probably be on you more if you were smooth." Me "Didn't work before. Not today Satan. I like it. It stays." Her pout pout pout Me Crickets

That was a pretty sneaky shit test from the 30 seconds of whining earlier right? These women are gooood. Other than not bitching....tips? Feedback? Done it differently?
