I could ask this question on a fitness sub, but the community most likely understands my concern.

In the last year I went from 200lbs in January, down to 163lbs in July, up to 176 now. I wasn't obese or anything, but my love for beer and ice cream had taken it's toll on my mid section. This is what has caused my problem I'm at now.

I work out hard. My stomach is a rock. All the little muscles on the sides are even coming in now. My problem is because I had a gut prior to my weight loss, there is a small pocket of empty skin in my navel section. When I'm standing, its pretty well gone. When I sit or bend over, it's there though.

It seems like diet and exercise aren't doing anything here. Is this something that will go away on it's own eventually? Is there salves or some shit? Or is this simply the nature of the beast and my burden for letting myself become a fat fuck?
