If you can get people to associate alt-right as something bad and evil, you can then use it as a label to discredit any opposing ideas.

Alt right= bad = therefore that idea is also bad.

It’s a label used to hijack/short circuit people’s thinking process and automatically make them write an idea off rather than letting them investigate for themselves and making an informed choice.

Calling the RP alt right Is an easy way to label it as evil... although yes.. the type of content that he RP proposes is far more susceptible to attract some alt right members..but I usually see alt righters call themselves “redpilled” but their “redpill” is distinct..it’s more political and racial based ..ours is simply about dating.. but there might be some slight intersectionality..it’s also very less likely that liberal men or women will buy into the RP . also most RPillers lean more conservative than not.. our version of RP is mostly apolitical.. it’s just about interacting with women and self improvement.. and most times it’s impossible to control which crowds will be attracted by the RP content.. RP is about dating and improvement..atleast that’s the version I know.. and also it’s an insult to lump alt righters to the RP.. alt righters are not the brightest individuals..they are quite stupid most times..

Red Pill, as a metaphor, just describes revealing the truths that society conceals. For the alt right, that means that they see the world differently from the mainstream. They think that they're being lied to. In a percentage of cases, they're probably right. I don't know enough about alt right to even guess at that percentage, but judging by how wrong mainstream society gets masculinity and relationships between the sexes, I bet they have some truths. Probably some delusions, too. But that's political and I don't do politics.

Anyway, their Red Pill is very different from ours, which is about men investing in ourselves, instead of exclusively sacrificing for women, and oh by the way, women instinctively find that more attractive, anyway.

I don't get "Alt Right", It just means "Alternative Right". E.g Cultural, Expansionist, Civic, Capitalist or some other form of Nationalism (or some other non conforming right wing ideology).

The point is that Alt Right is everything other than the "classic" right wing ideologies (ranging from conservatism to Ethnic Nationalism). In other words there isn't anything inherently bad w alt-right, people just think they are racists (not realising that we already have a name for it; Ethnic Nationalism).

Anyhow,

Why are they trying to discredit TRP by using this terminology? Simple, the establishment is radical left, TRP is 80-90% anti gynocentrism (aka Conservative) = Threat to the establishment.

Because that's what alt-right preaches for or most people on that side believe in. The things that we discuss here in this community is mostly supported by the alt-right and mostly attacked by the alt-left because alt-right preaches for things as traditions or traditional values that the past generation was raised over which is largely similar to what we discuss here with each other when it comes to choosing a woman and making a family etc... and your beliefs, most of them, match each other or are too close to be connected with each other. For instance, having traditional values of what you believe about the different roles of men and women can't be similar to how you want the world to be from a feminist standpoint. Where the first belief is associated with alt-right, and the second belief is associated with alt-left. And that's why most people around here are associated with the alt-right.

Well for two reasons. 1. We have had prominent posters advocate for conservative and / or alt right policies, which is annoying and 2. Regardlrss of where you fall politically, the red pill is at ends with a lot of dominant social discourse from the left, ie it's inherently incompatible. Trp wholly rejects feminism and a lot of right think leftist policies/ideologies, so it puts us in an advdversarial position.

With that said, Im a moderate or a classical liberal at best, and hardly could be classified as an alt righter and see no contradiction between subscribing to parts of trp and my political stances

Thus the alt right tag is often applied to red pill ideology. I doubt very much that the most successful red pillers are alt right though.
