The indirect approach usually is a question + her answer + continue talking ..... How you can do this? For example, you see a woman that comes toward you (behind your back is a museum), and you ask the woman: "excuse me, is this the right street to the museum?". Because she is also going in the same direction where is the museum, you have the chance to talk to her.

It is very easy for any beginner and it is no need to tell her directly: "You look cute I want to talk to you....", you will say these words but only if she talks to you and she is not like "yes", "ok", "aha" - you got the idea. When you reach to the museum you can tell her: "You have an interesting life... let's go tomorrow for a coffee and tell me more..." if she agrees you can ask for her phone number to remind her about the coffee (you don't say hangout, it is coffee).

This is a simple indirect approach explained in just a few words.

Read 'The Game' if you haven't yet. I think what you're looking for is neutral openers. Stuff that gives you a way to start up a conversation but they don't feel as if you're hitting on them. Everyone these days is too lazy to learn this stuff so they're all obsessed with "cold approach" and being super direct. It's cool that you're learning more skills. I think you'll see a lot of positive results from it. Best of luck!

Never had any exposure with indirect style game personally, but u can always open with cold reads or observational openers depending on where u are. Might require quick thinking.

I generally stack a cold read on top of my opener. But its worth a shot.

The bigger issue is why you feel you need to go indirect.
