I talked to a few people about this at school today, I am in grad school, and the consensus was what one would expect. Guys thought it was awesome and most woman could care less. I think that many were just shy to admit that they thought it was kind of cool but I think a lot genuinely thought it was pretty sleezy.

I am confused though, does it only list other people who have the ap? Because when I went through and selected all the ladys I would consider banging it only put like not even a quarter of my female friends list

Hmm, interesting I guess. My primary concern would be privacy. Biggest reason I'd stay away is the fact that before you add it you can see which of your friends has it.

You can find lots of articles complaining about this app just by googling it. But honestly, the only legitimate complaints I found are the one I just mentioned and the fact that it makes socializing "lazier". But I'm not even sure I agree with that sentiment. The app seems to create a bridge, or rather, reveal a bridge that was already there. So you may not have to take a leap of faith, but you still have to cross it.

One flaw is that you can't unselect someone. So be careful who you click on.

I'm confused... when I first tried this (like a month ago) it just had a list of my female friends, and then I could choose who I'd be down to bang.

However, any subsequent login (and even just now, I decided to reinstall the app after seeing this article to see the changes) it has my female friends, and some say "down to bang" and some say "awaiting bang." However, some of the girls I'd be down to bang have "awaiting bang" under them, and some girls I did not choose say "down to bang".

What the hell? Does "down to bang" mean they have the app installed, or that they want to bang me and they have shitty privacy settings? I'm confused...

Ok, so I'm intrigued, as I think we all are.

Are there any users here who have actually used this thing?

My first question is does it do that annoying thing of posting to your wall like "Pugilanthropist likes Bang With Friends?" That sort of kills the anonymity of it all, and whether I like it or not, my career necessitates a strong social media presence. So this makes me very very cautious about this whole thing.

As the last remaining single guy of the majority of my friends who is the most outgoing and often times a safety net I decided to download the app because everyone who would click on me to bang if they thought it was creeper status would know I was just "joking" so I felt like I had nothing to lose. First thing I did was look for one of my friends with benefits just to get that first "click" out of the way and see what would happen. I realized as soon as I clicked it it was actually her roommate who was using a picture of both of them as her profile picture. It was then I realized in a panic that I can't un click. So if you do this make sure you do the following: Click ONLY ME in the privacy settings. Don't need to let the world know you're looking to bang Make sure you read the name on your targets profile picture, it may not be them.
