Beginner Protip: Turn off the text tone for your phone

I prefer to leave mine on. I have enough self control to never check my phone ever when I'm hanging out with people. But it's decent social proof to show off that you're popular enough to be texted even when you're not texting anyone else. If it DOES get out of hand, it takes two seconds to turn it off and she'll understand. You don't have anything to hide.

I agree. It takes a lot of willpower to not reply immediately, plus with apps like WhatsApp or iMessage, they can tell that you've read the message. Its a minefield out there.

Of course, sometimes you can play that part up as well - so you read the message, and don't respond. She'll go nuts trying to figure out why you aren't responding.

There's another reason to not have a text tone on your phone though, and that's to make sure that you don't get caught out on your dates or something. A little bit of jealousy is good, but too much may make the girl decide you're just too popular.

Also, if I remember, I always put my phone on silent when I'm taking her to the bedroom. I've never been disturbed by an important call while I'm having sex, but plenty of times by something mundane or "work important".

Just curious, why is it bad to text someone back instantly if you aren't doing anything. They texted you so clearly they want to talk to you...Am I the only one who texts back right away?

I like to let it beep. Pretty girl asks "Aren't you going to answer that? I don't mind."

"Nah, I'll get to them eventually."

Sometimes I'll get several messages and not give a crap. It's fun.

Turn off vibrate as well. I haven't even begun to "game" yet, but I've had mine on silent, no-vibrate since February this year. It's very relaxing.

just a question should I message the girl first? I can #-close like a champ(pretty much everyone here can, eh? haha) but my text game is off. I keep my phone ringer on, I will enter the message but not send and wait a bit (varies between who I am talking to), so I am pretty good with that. But about a new day, should i message her everyday, every other day, every fifth Wednesday of February?

Forgive the off topic question, but since you guys have good text game i thought i would shoot this question out.

wow, this takes me back. i'm a bit ashamed to say that i've done this, and that it works. some phones will even let you put calls from specific numbers on silent, too. just don't tell her it's on silent, though, or she'll realize that you're still responding as soon as you see it.
