The right attitude towards women is a thing of maturity.
But no one will be able to learn the right attitude with out some one showing him the way.
And I think this subreddit is about education and showing the proper attitude.
[–]bytheninedivines 7 points8 points9 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
It used to be, but now it's an echo chamber for incels. Anyone trying to show them the way gets downvoted hard
[–]Crow729 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Well a moderator removed this post. They don't mind the people which don't want to understand that being good with women usually starts with the attitude.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
They don’t want people realizing the advice here doesn’t actually help
[–]Dumpster_slut69 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I'm fairly new to the sub but I haven't seen a lot of these posts honestly. Do you mean comments?
[–]Still_Falls_The_Rain -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You can have the right attitude towards the right women.
Nothing wrong with having standards. The guys that are feeling defeated aren't lowering their standards.
[–]atomant88 61 points62 points63 points 3 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link
youre actually not even being harsh enough to them
pickup is about love. its about loving your partner. sharing joy. making it easy to do that. removing barriers between you.
incels hate women. they dont have any love or respect for them in their hearts. they want to harm and dominate. they are purely selfish in relationships. they hide behind barriers and fake personas. because their true selves are disgusting.
theres no place in game for incels or misogynists.

I don’t hate women. But I don’t love them, I don’t even love myself. Frankly I wish I wasn’t alive
[–]apvaki 18 points19 points20 points 3 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link
Ok. Then you definitely don’t need to be focused on dating.
[–]Notansfwprofile -2 points-1 points0 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Often times love is the missing piece, especially to someone who has never experienced it. People can get by on decent jobs and hobbies they enjoy, but it all feels pointless without any source of incoming affection. Since bars are not one of my hobbies, people like me never even get into situations where we talk to women. Not many single adult women hang around mountain biking trails or precision machining shops. Dirt track races and ski hills have them, but they are all with boyfriends/husbands or in high school.

I’ve tried therapy, exercise, diet, meditation, nothing helps.
[–][deleted] -3 points-2 points-1 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
gym therapy and proper diet and meditation would benefit
I don’t deny that. They have benefitted be somewhat, but not enough that I can actually allow myself to feel safe and comfortable enough around other people that I can actually make friends and get a girlfriend. I have a history of childhood abuse and trauma and a genetic disposition towards depression and mental illness which runs in my family. I don’t get matched on dating apps. I can’t talk to women at all. I just hate being alive, there’s nothing here for me.
You don’t know what you’re talking about. I think your advice probably would work for a good number of guys but not everyone
[–]apvaki 9 points10 points11 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Um. I think you really need to NOT focus on dating women or dating at all for that matter.
It’s like the point is flying right over your head.
You are NOT ready to be in a relationship. You have a long ass list of other things you need to get together before you can even THINK about a relationship.
Newsflash: Life is literally hard for a majority of people right now. Nobody wants to tack on your issues on top of their own that they can’t even help you with.
“No matches on tinder so I’m depressed”…
That is such backwards ass thinking. I’m going to try to say it a little simpler.
You are unhappy. Nobody wants to date someone who is literally a void to be around. No woman wants to date someone she has to CONSTANTLY assure they will be together.
Like - “I just hate being alive” um… quite a lot of us do, and we still have partners????
If your hate for life trumps you getting your shit together, as I said before: you should not be focused on dating AT ALL.
Having a girlfriend should be at the BOTTOM of your list. Not in the middle. Not slightly towards the top. BOTTOM.

Try schema therapy
I’m in CBT and it doesn’t help, schema sounds like the same thing
[–]Acceptable_Stop_7063 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yea, its almost similar but its more about you trying to figure out in your best self how would your best advice yourself and how would you respond to yourself in a third person or something like that. I know it's not easy as I've not fully figured it out myself but it helps change your attitude about yourself. CBT also doesn't work for me. I know self pity feels good but you gotta fight the thought as much as you can and also take defeat when you do feel defeated acknowledge your feelings but once you're in the better mood make use of that moment. Try having more outside activities, they help with not focusing on your negative thoughts.
Good luck champ, we're in this together.

[–][deleted] 26 points27 points28 points 3 years ago (62 children) | Copy Link
You have to understand the survivability bias that happens on reddit, you will get more 1-5s here than 7s-9s ( for guys i mean ) so a lot of people here just don't have a chance with women. Telling them to "just improve yourself" is telling a guy born in africa " if you work hard enough you will have a good life" dude, that just ain't happening.
Your view is short sighted, look on r/tinder and you'll see a lot of...not so goodlooking guys asking why they aren't getting any matches. Well, they've been dealt a shitty hand so except outside interventions like surgery/trt they won't really look good, ever.
If you're average, a 5 and you improve yourself to a 6-7, you will have some success. but if you're a 2 and improve to a 4..you still won't, even if that's possible.
I do agree with trying to be your best, but for some it's way harder than for others. Some people no matter how much they go to the gym they just won't put on muscle. There's genetic variability and a lot of things you just can't control.
Yeap, women won't pick them, but stop making it sound like they are bad people and have some compassion. Also it's not even just about how good you look, it's also about depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and a lot of that are just from the environment ( toxins, glyphosate, mercury, lead etc ) . You really want to do good for the world? Try and change it for the better, not just spew shitty things from your high horse.
[–][deleted] 3 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
[+][deleted] -6 points-5 points-4 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Your two cents are valid and appreciated but things are a bit more complex. If you look at people 50 years ago/500 years ago you see that we are slowly but surely declining as as a species. It's harder to find a partner because people are more and more sick/obese/hormone problem etc. Women are becoming men and viceversa ( phtalates, glyphosate, and God knows what other toxins are messing up your hormones ) .
Also alcohol has opposing effects on women and man, makes testosterone go down in men and up in women.
So, until we as a society change these things, sadly everything will go to shit.
[–]dryo 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Alcohol destroys testosterone in women.
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Nope
"The present results confirm our earlier finding (Eriksson et al., 1994) that alcohol intake is associated with an acute elevation in total testosterone levels among premenopausal women. The effect is more prominent among women using oral contraceptives, but occurs during the mid-cycle phase among non-users as well"
[–]dryo 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
So you're dating pre menopausical cougars...
If you'd bother to read, i know, it's hard, but you can do it, i believe in you.
Substudy B.
Ten non-pregnant healthy Caucasian female student volunteers were recruited. All the subjects, aged 20–32 (mean 24) years and weight 52–63 (mean 58) kg, reported using oral contraceptives containing both synthetic ethinyl oestradiol and a progestin (brands similar to those used in substudy A) for several months before entering the study.
In substudy B, total testosterone levels (Fig. 6) were significantly higher during all the alcohol events than in the placebo session (F = 5.34, P = 0.011, all doses P < 0.001)
You're still wrong but in a different way, congrats
[–]lannisteralwayspay 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
This is true but there’s really no other choice. You can choose to life your life to the “max” by improving yourself, having hobbies you enjoy, being healthy/fit. Or… what? Just be sad? At least if you do that you’ll probably be more serene and find more meaning and maybe even if you’re ugly af some people will appreciate it for what you are.
yeah, i didn't say not to improve as much as you can, just saying to be more compassionate for others since some people even with improving their lives won't have success. Also understand reality and some people would be way more happy with some surgery than the tired old advice of " just be confident bro "
[–]lannisteralwayspay 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

thank you. said it before me. no point in bashing them when seriously looks are huge. i’m not gonna sit here and pretend my success with women isn’t in large part due to my looks. YES it’s in part my game, yes at 5’4 i shouldn’t get girls but i still do (meaning yes at times you can indeed overcome certain shortfall in your looks), nonetheless i am a very racially good looking guy and telling others it’s my magical confidence is ignorant when girls clearly swipe on me in part due to my looks online
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Tinder is about 10 years old. People met in person before.
Also, stop using scales to rate people if you don't want to be rated. It's gross.
[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points0 points 3 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link
It's gross for you, it's normal for other people but they just don't express it, so no, i won't stop it. We can say that some people are better looking than others, putting them on a scale is just easier than saying " she looked just as good as Angelina Jolie in her prime " .
What does how old tinder is have to do with anything?
[–]eriverside 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

You are literally objectifying people talking like that.
I'm gonna guess your attitude is why you have such problems.
I'm not objectifying anyone, if i'd say she has an iq of 130 and he has an iq of 100, would that make you mad too? And i didn't say they are bad people, just the opposite, but we can still live in reality where some people look better, some people have more money, some people are more kind etc?
L.E: I didn't say i have problems, but you go girl, be a keyboard warrior
[–]SeaTransportation404 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Yeah, I'm guessing you don't understand the definition of "objectifying", but saying someone looks "as good as movie star in their prime" is a type of objectifying. Sexual objectification is the act of treating a person solely as an object of sexual desire.
objectify
/ɒbˈdʒɛktɪfʌɪ/
Learn to pronounce
verb
gerund or present participle: objectifying
1.
degrade to the status of a mere object.
Note the word degrade. I didn't say a woman was only good to fuck, or the only value she brings to the world is as a sex object.
I didn't treat anybody as an object of sexual desire but i can appreciate beauty when i see it. I didn't make any claims if the person is good or bad, moral or not, etc. Just like if i see a 100k car i can appreciate it's beauty but it doesn't mean i'd buy one.
If you want to be butthurt, good for you, i don't care, but don't put words in my mouth.
Anyway, i'm done here, goodluck

It's a useful metric to classify people in this context. No one is suggesting that their entire worth is wrapped up in a 1-10 scale.
[–]Dafiro93 -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
It's a useless metric because a 10 to you might only be a 6 to me. I don't rate celebrities all the high compared to most normal women I see out in public for example. I don't care about a woman's jawline or whatever else these models are rated on. For example, Gisele Bündchen wouldn't even classify as super-hot to me.
[–]ProductivityMonster 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
there are traits which are considered generally attractive, regardless of your individual preference.
[–]Dafiro93 -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago* (5 children) | Copy Link
Sure, if we knew what the metric was, but we don't know what your metrics are. If you like goth girls with big tits, then it would be different than my metrics.
Edit: If you go to any of the rate me subs, there's going to be a bunch of different numbers for the same person depending on who was rating them.
[–]ProductivityMonster 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
The scale may not be useful to you if you have some outlier tastes, but it is useful to most people, hence the "generally" in "generally attractive". You can google these traits if you like - I'm not going to do the work for you.
[–]Dafiro93 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Check my edit and go to the rateme sub, everyone is going to get a bunch of different numbers. The first image I opened up has the rating go from 4.5 to 9. How reliable would that rating even be? If you were an expert model scouter then sure, you may have a reliable opinion but you're just another redditor just like me.

I read your article, and yeah: people in poor countries are usually poorer than people in rich countries. No need to be scientist to understand that.
But the way you phrase your idea is a little bit ignorant. And you need to edit this out.
First: "having a good life" is not just based on the amount of money you have.
Second: trying is not a 100% guarantee of success. OK, we know that. But NOT trying is a 100% guarantee of not obtaining shit. And the so-called exceptions are here to prove it.

Don't you think there's enough negativity on here? I don't want to tell you what you can and can't say but who does it help if you say shit like that? Why don't we work on building people up instead of saying 'welp, some of us can't help it so why even bother'?
It's one thing to help each other, it's another thing to be delusional and not accept reality and that some guys (or gals) drew the short end of the stick. Since most people that look good will have decent opportunities in life, here usually will come the people who need help. But telling someone that needs massive help to just get out the hole that biology put them in is neither productive or helpful.
Testosterone went down by 1% per year in the last 30-50 years, that's a fact, it's not up for debate. And if women want "manly guys" just like we like feminine women, where will they find them at this rate?
So you have options like TRT , steroids or trying to get to the root cause of why is testosterone down in guys and that's a really hard thing to do.
Search for jawline surgery and see how much better people can look. Also the jaw and teeth are becoming more shitty since there's no vit K2 in the diet, activator X.
There are a lot of points to be made but i'm too lazy to talk about it anymore.
[–]Crazy-Platform-5581 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I totally get what you're saying. I truly believe that reality is what you make of it. If you want to make being ugly and unlikable your reality then so be it. Giving yourself limits because of your meatsuit is simply detrimental to our mental health. Like you said, there are many ways to fix the outside but if your mentality isn't in good shape, looking like a god won't make you happy. There are more important things than having a good jawline or being tall so focus on what is actually important is what I'm trying to say.
Btw super interesting point you made with that testosterone statement, I'm starting to get really interested in that myself.

He married his wife in 2005, he had roles at that point (including Elf), so not really "pre" fame. I get your point, but it's important to remember: he wasn't just a short guy, he was a short guy with a career.
[–]facebook_user67 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Yeah dude, a career is in your control especially when you’re born in the west. Stop focusing on what you can’t control is my point. So many other things make you attractive far beyond looks. Almost anyone who says boohoo I can’t get rich or charismatic is a lazy self proclaimed victim
[–]aidsjohnson 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
"A career is in your control," it's true that working hard is a variable you can work on, but I wouldn't go so far as to say you have control over that stuff in this economy. And as for your comment on "can't get rich," same thing: just because you have a "career" doesn't mean you'll be rich. But I get your point overall, we should focus on what we can control, like working on your charisma etc.
I just hate how people use Peter Dinklage as an example of a short guy who got a girlfriend lol he's fucking rich
[–]SeaTransportation404 -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Stop putting people in f*cking hiarchies. Being an self proclaimed "incel" doesn't make someone a victim.
I didn't put anyone in hierarchies, society does. Where did i self proclaimed i'm an incel? You're fun to talk to
[–]SeaTransportation404 -2 points-1 points0 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I didn't call you an incel, it's literally the subject of the OP. And again, you lack understanding the definition of the phrase you're claiming not to do, WHILE putting people on a numbers scale.
Calm TF down. I'm done w your ridiculousness
I'm calm but you're just mad you don't have any proper arguments. If you were a 9 or 10 you wouldn't have a problem with the scale, just saying. Keep on the good fight SJW
Maybe start the by not describing people as numbers. Looks fade, personality is WAY more important for a lasting and meaningful relationship
Looks are what makes you interested in a person, it shows health basically so it shows how healthy your offspring will be. But thinking that looks is everything is wrong, so there's a baseline that has to be met. "incels" are upset with it because the double standards when a 200 pound queen wants a 6feet and 6 pack abs guy. You can see it in okcupid data and Tinder data, that's where a lot of the problems come from.
Luckily there are still people who don't have crazy standards but judging by the dating world today, fewer and fewer.
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Great call out
I understand sexual frustration as much as the next guy, but I can hardly say I have much sympathy for incels.
The reality is these guys expect to be served women on a silver platter like it's their god given right, and that women should just spread their legs for them without them having to do jackshit. If that's your attitude, might as well do yourself and the women of the world a favour by buying a sex doll and swearing off real women forever. Don't buy a sex doll with AI though, chances are a smart enough female AI wouldn't even want to have sex with you lol.
No secret that a lot of women out there are absolute scum but it's not a gender specific problem. People of all genders and orientations are capable of being scum.
Bottom line is incels don't want to do any work, not even the bare minimum, to find a partner. Then bitch about being virgins.

I have zero entitlement personally. I’m an average looking guy, 180 pounds, 6’1”, I have seen much less attractive and shorter men than me with attractive girlfriends. I would personally be fine with an unattractive girlfriend so long as she isn’t morbidly obese, which is mainly just because I’d like to be able to go on long hikes and climbing with her.
women are right and you’re wrong
I believe that. I think women are justified in not wanting to date me, I have little social skills and zero dating history. At my age, 27, that’s incredibly unattractive and disturbing to women. They would much rather have a normal guy with friends and a normal social life, with ex girlfriends
change your attitude or remain single forever
“Change your attitude”, now why didn’t I think of that before?
finding the right woman
I’ve tried for years. I get zero matches on dating apps. I have no friends. I think of death constantly. Therapy hasn’t helped.

Being alone and lonely is really hard. People in dating forget that average personality, looks, and interests is actually an advantage, as is familiarity.
https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/ulterior-motives/201312/the-attractiveness-average-and-familiar-faces
That's why rating people on a scale makes no sense, it just tells you what is conventionally attractive to the average, but not what the type of person you would really want finds attractive, nor what is the best (if that even makes sense to speak of best since it depends on your goals).
So dating advice, like any advice, will be only as good as it matches your situation, taste and needs sufficiently.
That's why selfdevelopment is so imporant and knowing yourself and what you want personally, really understand who you are, and stop listening too much to other people who lecture you what you should and shouldn't do.
Only then you can make informed decisions about what works or not. People who just fit in the norm will not experience this frequently enough, to know you have to do more than just grind.
In other words, what matters the most is to be around people who you feel comfortable being around, after risking a bit, and being open about who you are, then trusting your feelings if this is just initial (which is normal) or longer term discomfort (which means incompatibility). It's completely valid to say you don't like certain environments, people, or activities. Don't try to be someone you aren't.
Dating is about filtering and adjusting your filter and searching strategy, it's not about optimizing the amount of lays or scores as is often suggested.
If something is really not enjoyable or tortures you, it's fine to not keep pushing, and instead keep searching somewhere else (including completely different places and environments, not just insisiting in the same place, e.g., Tinder, hoping for a better outcome).
Remind yourself that you are worthy of this, worthy of searching what is good for you. If somebody doesn't match the energy you seek, don't feel guilty or discouraged from searching for someone else. You may have to search harder than the average, but this is not a value judgement, but an assement of compatibility.
Try to find quick ways to assess if you like somebody, listen to your emotions, come up with questions about things that matter to you. Stop looking at how random people judge you.
It can make you feel lonely, but it's again, not a question of worth, but compatibility.

Anyone who hasn't read it, please read 'no more Mister nice guy'. It's a quick, pretty easy, read that can be pivotal for anyone trapped in this mindset.

THIS holy shit this book changed my perspective on everything. People are not put on earth to validate you, people and women especially respect people that march to the beat of their own drum and don't sweat the small stuff.

I have never written a negative comment about a woman. And I do not feel those negative feelings towards them.
But
After one broke my heart, just ripped it out of my chest, while saying how much she likes me and how much I mean to her. Then just a text that it's over. Never got closure, got called words when I tried to reach out when I wanted to return a couple of things and hug goodbye. Blocking/unblocking to say something that hurts me and expressing fear toward me even though I was the best version of my self and put a lot of effort into helping her through tough times (mental damage/trauma). After all that, I don't feel hate, don't hold a grudge, I still think she is a good person - depends how you define who is a good person, for me, the more you suffer, the better the person you are - kind of thermodynamics approach, matter cannot be created or destroyed, same with feeling/emotions.
But, I know what they are capable of. I prioritize my well-being over any woman I meet. Making them happy still brings me joy, but if an opportunity arises where I can gain more happiness I will take it even if it means, it will cause pain to the female. It's not black and white, just prioritize yourself more.. sloppy writing, was just thinking out loud

I am very sorry that you experienced this, but buddy, everyone deals with gruesome heartbreak, lack of closure, incomprehensible and unstomachable behavior from the people we love. Women, too. My heart is scar ridden with the amount of times men have trampled it (probably unconsciously or unable to prevent it, in most cases.)
But the point is to find yourself in the midst of that pain, learn from it, learn to radically love yourself, find hope again and to find a way to love people again with all your trust, knowing how much it can hurt afterwards. That is true courage. That is true growth. Nothing ever grows from bitterness.

This for me is what caused the problem to form for me. My ex just completely destroyed me. There were alot of things I just couldn't see while I was in the relationship and I was so sure that I could make the relationship work. Because I was so sure and was completely wrong, I have lost trust in my ability to judge the intentions of others. So I'm currently stuck in a loop.
I'm currently not able to trust myself or women because I lack the ability to judge their intentions or character and just act like myself.
The solution to this is to spend time with women and start to regain my ability to be myself around them and regain my ability to judge intentions and character. But no women want to be around me right now because I'm acting fake and withdrawn because I'm too anxious about what will get me hurt and what won't.
So I'm just stuck in the loop of needing experience while I suck and have a shitty personality but nobody wants to give me experience to rebuild that confidence. And I don't blame them, I kinda just suck the energy out of the room.

Thaaaaaaaaaank you soooooooo much for this 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
[–]raclnp 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
You never want to become a toy for others, no matter how many women it gets you, or how much "success" you have, it will make you burn out.
Instead love yourself, mature, and grow, and find people who match your energy. Everything else is just adapting for popularity sake, and is not sustainable.
Don't become the man women want, become the man and more importantly person you personally would respect. People who respect and love that version of yourself and help you grow and nurture you are the healthy type of people you want around.

Terrible advice considering so many young men nowadays just idolize internet personalities and gamers. That's going to be a recipe for disaster if everyone wants to become a fulltime streamer and make $100/month lol.
[–]stonedape_420 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I mean also set realistic expectations though. To compare yourself to an uberfamous internet personality is just silly. Their whole life revolves around entertaining you. Your job is to become the person that makes you feel happy/fulfilled
This literally isn’t possible for all guys. Many men have physical or mental abnormalities that make it impossible
[–]greenlight144000 -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
No it’s because im ugly it doesn’t matter if I have a better attitude or not.

Not with that attitude.

The problem with the whole incel argument is that both sides stick to an extreme point of view. It's either women are right and the incels are wrong or the incels are right and the women are wrong. It's neither, much like anything in society. If anything incels need to think about dating as any market, like the job market for example. You don't whine that you can't get a good job in a 10k population small town, you move. You don't keep kissing the ass of a manager that won't give you a raise, you switch jobs etc etc. In dating's case some of the solutions have a social stigma associated with them, and as such aren't talked about. Lack of sex is no problem if you're willing to pay for it, but that obvious solution is somehow immoral? Why? Another simple solution is just moving, as for jobs. Big cities have more opportunities, some parts of the country are better for men looking for relationships, as are some parts of the world, if you come to think about it. So, yes, if you're an incel you are doing something wrong, but it's not necessarily related to dating itself. Think about it well and hard, don't let prejudices stop you from finding solutions. On the other hand the quality of women, especially in some of the more woke parts of the US and western Europe has fallen to laughable standards. Telling some guy he's wrong for not settling for a morbidly obese partner who berates him daily for being a man and nothing else is absurd.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
It’s not like the job market at all. At least in the job market if you apply enough, SOMEONE will give you a chance, I mean they have to make money too and they need lots of employees.
But a woman is only going to want one man at a time and frankly it’s usually the same guys over and over again dating women. They pick guys with dating history, that have good social lives and experience with women and that’s it.
I literally make 200k a year, I’m nearly 30 and have never had a girlfriend. I probably never will. I don’t like being alive at all, it’s hell. Even living in a big city, I was getting zero dating all matches. In 2+ months I had one or two dates and both went terribly. After that, zero matches at all, let alone replies or dates
Don't you see that you are speaking exactly like the "hot" guys you complain about? You are successful in the job market and think that anyone can do it. But your salary is way above the average, and there are many unemployed people (for example due to health reasons) that struggle to find jobs.
Your experience in applying to jobs was favorable, it was not for others, many of which work several jobs and still are in debt. Not to mention people in poor countries with no jobs.
Dating is definitely very dependent on location, culture, and expectations and "beauty" standards of those places.
Getting any job if you look long enough desperately, often enough ends in losing your health and still not meeting ends needs, depending on your skills or market demands. That's like being in a bad relationship where you are abused, just so that you can be in any kind of relationship.
May not be a perfect analogy, but there are certainly important similarities.

Someone will. It's just the conversion rate is very low. I'd say normal numbers are something along the lines of 1/50 chats converts to a date and 1/10 dates converts to intimacy or ltr. 1/500 overall sounds horrible, but isn't. Just to give you an idea, one of my earlier businesses sold electronics online. Conversion from adds to site was about 1/100, landing to cart was about 1/3, cart to payment was 1/3 again. So one in 900 people who saw one of my adds bought something. And business was good. Coming back to dating, the problem is you need to take those 499 rejections for 1 success. I agree, that takes a psychological toll, but it's the cost of doing business.
I literally make 200k a year, I’m nearly 30 and have never had a girlfriend. Even living in a big city, I was getting zero dating all matches
Maybe it's a high cost of living city, where you don't stand out. Trust me 200k/year is top 5% even in California, more like top 1% in most places. That kind of money doesn't talk, it shouts when it comes to women. Look at poorer suburbs around you, smaller towns in a 50 mile radius. If that doesn't work, see if you can go remote and move to a lower cost city. If that still doesn't work travel to a country like the Phillippines, Vietnam or Moldova, Romania, Belarus in Europe. Keep hammering until it works, it will work if you have the resources and nerves to keep going. Edit: And don't fall for the PUA shit. Most relationships don't start in clubs or on Tinder. To the contrary, those places make their money on guys like you and me failing and coming back again. If something doesn't work, drop it and try something else. Also, I seriously doubt the older dudes dating hot girls got them by improving their inner game or hitting the gym more often. Empirical evidence vs PUA salesmanship.
I literally have no options. I have no friends and I can’t make them, I’ve tried so many times. I can barely leave the house.
[–]MrBlack__ -4 points-3 points-2 points 3 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
Nah, if you’re hot doesn’t matter what attitude you have you can get women. So trying to reverse psychology thier behaviour to imply they will be rewarded by the same that caused the issue in the first place is stupid.
What the need to do is look at what they want and reverse engineer it, that’s it
Get what women want, they will give you what you want, simple
[–]SeaTransportation404 -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Easy for you to say as a woman
As men, there are winners and losers.
When you are a successful man in something usually that comes with female interest, hence why men see women that way.
How about you stop telling people what to do and ask why instead
[–]SeaTransportation404 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I'm not a woman, so exactly how is this easy for me? Your attempt to be condescending to me was hilarious.
[–]MrBlack__ 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Ok well as a man can you not agree women choose the winners?
It wasn’t an attempt at being condescending I thought I had to explain the dating dynamics to a woman who wouldn’t understand
[–]SeaTransportation404 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Just....wow. That last post just speaks for itself
[–]MrBlack__ 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
🤦🏾♂️
Im pretty sure a woman would have an insight to dating that I, as a man, who has never dated men as a woman, wouldn’t understand.
Not that a woman doesn’t have the capacity to understand.
For goodness sake

Getting down votes for speaking the truth?
Wtf is a subreddit called "sensuality" flooded w misogynists? Seriously thought this would be a place for ppl to talk about soft kinks, not whiney incels
[–]ProductivityMonster -2 points-1 points0 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I'm not willing to date the women who want to date me. They're way below any objective reasonable standard. The obese women on dating sites who usually like me can fuck right off. I'm not even overweight, let alone obese. I have decent muscle mass/figure as well. I make good money. I own a home. I have a social hobby. But I'm never going to become Mr. Life of the Party nor be a tall guy.

I always thought stoicism was the answer to those incel feelings and this Rudyard Kipling poem sums that up pretty well.
If you can keep your head when all about you, Are losing theirs and blaming it on you.
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too.
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies.
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating, And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise.
If you can dream – and not make dreams your master.
If you can think – and not make thoughts your aim.
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster, And treat those two impostors just the same.
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken, Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools.
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools.
If you can make one heap of all your winnings, And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss.
And lose, and start again at your beginnings, And never breathe a word about your loss.
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone.
And so hold on when there is nothing in you, Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’.
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings – nor lose the common touch.
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, If all men count with you, but none too much.
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run.
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it.
And – which is more – you’ll be a Man, my son.

The term "incel" is way overused and overapplied nowadays. It's just a sexist/misandrist insult for anything arguing men's POV in dating.
Take a look at r/dating. It's basically just an echo-chamber arguing women's pov because they ban any men's pov. At least r/dating_advice considers both sides. The reality is dating is a compromise between men and women. You can have the most hardline/pro-whatever-sex-you-are stance, but if no one that you find a suitable partner agrees to it, it means nothing.
