Most girls (heck most people) don’t like long distance relationship because they are re not really relationships.

Those who agree to go on a distance relationship do it only because they were already an actual thing in person for a significant time, but circumstances forced them to be apart from each other.

So starting a long distance relationship from scratch with a girl you have nothing with, over the phone is something 99.999999% of girls will reject straight away.

Pretty much you are wasting your time here. Not to mention that the phone is for setting up dates not to get to know her let alone maintaining a relationship with a girl you haven’t even kissed first

Being her friend sure, but nothing more than that. Most girls will gladly be your friend over texts, but at the same time they will date guys they can actually meet in person in a very frequent basis.

So there is no point for you to be her long distance friend while she is fucking other dudes without telling you about it, because it’s none of your business.

I have a similar thing going on someone. We talk and flirt and have plans to meet up and do something in the future. But I am not sitting around on my phone for her. I'm going out and meeting women, going on dates at the same time. Keep her as one of the options. You won't be able to get into a LDR unless you two have already spent a significant amount of time IRL together.

I’ve never tried to date a girl long distance but the girlfriends I’ve had who started on Instagram or Facebook normally the conversation would progress over a number of days or weeks. Often I would let the conversation die out then post a good looking selfie or something interesting or comment worthy the next day.

Absolutely do what feels right though because if you’re going to lose you want to lose following your instincts. But to me pushing hard online and trying to escalate is just going to scare her off. Have a fun little convo. Go do your own thing for a day or two. Post something that might get her attention, resume convo, etc
