I am 24 and have never been on a date. I hate to compare myself to my friends but at the same time I feel like I am missing out since everyone I know around my age is married and starting families. There’s nothing I want more than to have a family and it sucks when everyone else is able to do so and your the one single guy everywhere you go.

Yep. 25 years old and I got fat right after college + didn’t game at all for 18 months due to the pandemic. I’m starting to work on fixing the problem, but by the time I have the body I want I’ll be 27. Feels like I completely missed the boat on that fun time of life (22-25) where I get to have lots of casual sex with college girls who are way more into me because I’ve got my shit together (which I do other than my weight) and am more mature. I know sex doesn’t just end at 27, but I’m really regretting missing out on this stage of life and getting to hook up with 18-22 year olds without being seen as a major creep.

We are the same age, and I had similar thoughts years ago so I said fuck it, became ruthless when it comes to picking up chicks, literally no inhibitions and did some of the craziest stuff and had fun. It was worth it, but still I want more, I don't want this to end yet, so I keep being a demon.

I was in a 2 year relationship also, and to frankly tell you, it is nice, but nothing out of ordinary. It shouldn't be your goal. Let it happen when it happens, just have fun along the way. I started at 25, it's as good time as any. Besides, I may get shit for saying this here, but your career is more important. They get kids and family, but I earn 5 time as much as them combined, and I have no kids to spend money on, no debts and a good sum invested for later. Granted, my partners aren't going to be as young and pretty, but that's not that big of a downside. So no, I don't regret being boring, I had other priorities.

I agree it's like this experience is portrait as the human experience. And as a fellow human being I want my own version of this just to relate if nothing else. Moreover it's like when these people are done with this phase now the y are looking to wife or hubby you. It's worse than a doggy bag left overs from a party you were never invited. And in my case people talk and act around me like I just wouldn't understand or it's on going on just to me. Otherwise I wouldn't worry about it. Choosing not to participate is one thing, missing out or just being purposely left out just feels like billshit and now I don't even know how I feel about any of it even if someone were to extend an olive branch
