It's one thing to flake on the first date. Depending on the situation, some damage control could help recover the attraction.

You responding with “K” shows that you’re kinda butthurt about the situation so that’s where you went wrong. Although of course the natural instinct when you’re being flaked and you don’t feel it’s sincere is to get mad, it’s still the wrong thing to do if you wanna see the girl again. If you don’t then it doesn’t matter how you react!

In this situation you just wanna react calmly and show some understanding, show her that it’s no problem, wish her luck with her test, and do not try to immediately reschedule with her unless she insists on immediately rescheduling with you.

Wait a few days if she reaches out then great you can reschedule. Otherwise you can reach out and try to reschedule but don’t make any mention of the previous flake.

One thing you could’ve done to reduce the flake in this situation is to have messaged her the night before/morning of the date to check that you’re still on. It at least gives advance notice if you are about to get flaked but also reduces the chances of any last-minute flaking if she does confirm she’s still good for the date early on.
