Doing well on Hinge but barely any success on Bumble and Tinder, anyone else?

Hinge has been better, in Philly, for me as well vs the other two. Tinder was decent years ago, but it seems like it has gone way down hill since then

Works better for me on Hinge too, but the girls are less attractive, at least in my neck of the wood.

I had loads of matches last year on Hinge and eventually got banned. Made a new profile this year with mostly better pics (lost weight and reinvented myself in 2020) and this year I have not had a single match on Hinge. No idea why.

What age range are you targeting?

From my experience, hinge has been (newer and) great (for 35+), then bumble, then tinder.

Ask a year from now and in a different city and the answer will be totally different!

I do best on Hinge by a long way, in the UK. A smattering from Bumble, hardly anything from Tinder.

Possibly because Hinge has really limited likes per day?

Or maybe the ratios are less bad as far as men to women go on Hinge.

Or maybe the type of people on them.

I have had the opposite with hinge. Live in a someone big city, but barely get any matches on hinge. However, on bumble I get quite a few, and have had a few great dates from there. I do have friends who are the opposite, so not sure why.

tinder in my city is just girls trying to get more followers on insta or only fans lol, i feel like girls on bumble don't put out/waste of time...honestly most are waste of time.. i took a child studies class at my local college I'm the only guy there out of 25 students, i dropped out because I had no intention of actually studying lol. I was going to post a question asking guys if all younger ladies don't shave or if it's just my city lol

I've gotten more matches from Bumble recently. It probably just depends. Tinder I need to recreate my profile though, got shadowbanned there.

I read from someone on Reddit that their trick to fool the algorithm is that for every 4 girls that pop up on tinder only swipe right on one of them then left on other three. So basically one of every four swipe right. Obviously you’ll get back to back girls you wanna swipe on, so to avoid this, everytime you get back to back girls, close the app out and repeat the process. The app will reshuffle your deck. You basically have to be picky af. I’m not sure if it works because I haven’t been on tinder lately. I’m focusing on me right now, but when I get back I’m going to try it out. Let me know if it works if you try

I don’t think the old days of tinder being good are coming back, bumble was always rough for me too, hinge is the only somewhat legit one

Outside of large cities I find Hinge to be non-existent. Only Tinder has decent numbers, but Bumble has been better quality.
