Instead of trying to "stop being thirsty", focus on "being more patient", and u can apply that to your life as a whole.

Fake it till you nake it, act non needy by chevking your shit before you send it (on the texting side) until you get laid enough to actually be less needy.

Edit for actual practical tip: when reading your own texts for checking, dont read them in your own voice or a cool charming guys voice. Stop viewing women as prizes or high value. Get a girlfriend for a while. Look internally. Work on self esteem and dont look for external validation. Surround yourself with people who arent thirsty losers. Include girls in your friend groups. Get laid a few times and learn how humans are all similar.
