I think the best general rule is to meet up in person as soon as possible. Getting to know someone in person is so much more valuable than texting everyday.

Your ancestors are laughing at you. Stop being scared and stop overthinking. Ask her to meet up. If she says yes then you’re good. If she says any of the following:

“Hmm maybe”

“I’ll let you know”

“Not sure”

“I might have plans”

Or any version of that, take it as a “no” and move on.

Or, you can keep texting her and wondering about stages. You’ll friendzone yourself and some other dude will be filling her with cum and she won’t be thinking of you at all, at least until she needs a favor.

Use texting for logistics. Avoid texting all day. Have a busy life. Set a date a few days from the day you texted and ping sparingly. Confirm your date the day of at around noon and see them in the evening.

You don't get to know people through text, you do that in person. You should be getting off the phone and meeting up in person ASAP. However much texting it takes you to get the date is how much you should text. The longer that takes, the less likely you are to end up meeting. That doesn't mean don't text at all. You obviously need to make some small talk, banter, tell some jokes, and just overall let her get comfortable before you ask her out. However, that can be done in 10 texts or less if you get good at it.

Long distance will be a problem always (imo) and texting should mainly be used to meet up or plan something (Which will happen) But I did text a lot of people for years and did meet most of them. Was it worth it? No. And pain did come with time
