This girl is most likely socially awkward and the only way she knows how to communicate is through insults (perhaps its even a poorly calibrated attempt at flirting).

also this girl seems like a sort of anomaly. she seems weird, and like her teasing is sort of some old hold-over reflex from when she was younger. it's childish. pay no heed to it.

Sounds like a huge bitch. My advise would be never to show irritation , that is what she is looking for always be cool. Respond with something that will show her how you don't care and how stupid she is being. On the first case I would have replied with something like "OMG! I guess we shop at the same store then!" followed by big smile, this will most likely would have shut her up. For the next one i would have replied with something like "Oh i am sorry next time ill try to illustrate it with pretty pictures so you can keep up" again follow with a big smile. You have to be confident , stand up straight and look her in the eyes and if you could add light kino on the arms and shoulders when you respond to her, your msg will be stronger. But given that you work together and see her often you might want to go with a more subtle approach. You could also just stand there and look at here in the eyes (dont break eye contact) and dont say anything have a "bitch are you done, this is getting old " face. I hope this helps a bit, dont let anyone walk over you. let us know how it goes and daaaamn that's a lot of pizza!!!

Try AMOG tactics. Give her a nickname and the next time she does it, score her. "Six out of ten on that one pumpkin. High five! Psych!" (Or something actually funny. Also the high five thing is risky.)

But remember, it might be IOIs so take it easy. Touch her. And try to get her to do little things for you to test if she's at all interested.

I've had a few girls I more or less just met act like this to me. Don't let it phase you one bit--in fact, anticipate it and let it roll off of you. I haven't taken the time to figure out why certain girls interact like this, but personal experience suggests they're usually in to you and like others have said are likely a little insecure.

So what I'm saying is if you two are at a party and she can't seem to break you down, there's a very good chance she's going to end up in your lap. Not that I'm suggesting sleeping with her, but if she suddenly gives up trying to bring you down and throws herself on you then you know you handled it properly.

This is a great opportunity to build confidence, by the way.

I would not grin and bear it. or laugh. If her comment is funny and at your expense laughing is just fine. (The comments you posted are unacceptable. I would not let those fly) If you don't want her to continue give her a disapproving look. And turn away immediately. In a group do the same and immediately start a new conversation topic with someone else. you laughing makes it ok, and makes it ok for anyone listening to laugh as well, so if she is being a bitch don't.

You seem have some sort of attachment to her.if this bothers you my only advice is to get over it. Ignore her. If it comes a point where shes standing over your shoulder harassing you talk to your boss about this.

I would tease her right back and show that her comments dont bother me by agreeing. eg: Nice shirt! -- Thanks my mom bought it for me, I'll let you borrow it someday.

Usually with irritating / immature coworkers, I just ignore them and cut them out of all the cool social events I organize with coworkers. Plus if you have won over most of your other coworkers, it should make you pretty immune to ridicule by someone that others don't like very much.

As you said this isn't about getting her to like you, she's being a dick and needs to realise she's out of line.

Unless everybody at your workplace are genuine assholes they're thinking she's behaving badly as well, so what you need to do is tap into that. If you call her out on her behaviour you'll see that your co-workers will side with you.

On the other hand, grinning and bearing it will make her behaviour borderline ok to the people around the two of you ("that was a horrible thing to say but at least he seems ok with it".)

Someone with a strong frame would tell her to go fuck her self and see if she can be civil once she's sexually satisfed. If someone insults you be insulted, if someone tries to walk on you tell them to get the fuck off.

It's alright to get angry and your coworkers are probably either asking themselves why you're taking so much shit from her or they're in the same situation and waiting for someone else to put her in her place.

tl;dr: she's insulting, be insulted. Your co-workers will back you up.

Her approach seems like a good portion of the approaches in r/seduction, yet most of the responses here say she is being immature and/or a bitch.

She likes you and is expressing confidence towards you by teasing. Tease her back! :P We're really not that different from you dumb boys. Honest.

This is a woman that follows the "negative attention is better than no attention" theory. She's immature, uncomfortable with herself and she takes it out on others to try to elevate herself (in social status) by putting you down.

Clearly, she experiences some sort of social conflict with you [and it probably has nothing to do with anything you've done].

Mocking her is not going to do much for you. Either learn to roll it off your shoulder by accepting it as her fatal flaw that really has nothing to do with you, or confront it dead on -- CALMLY!

"I appreciate that you're joking at my expense to vent feelings that you can't otherwise express. If there's something I've done wrong to offend or bother you, I'd love for you to tell me so we can resolve it. If not, then I'd appreciate better treatment."

No guarantee that this will work, but it's a stepping stone
